A Genius, Six Partners and a Tank [1975/2025]
ok, two things about this piece:
while the addition of an official steam workshop greatly helps with ease of access and operation, a load of mods have yet to make the jump from standalone files found thru itchio to mods available in the new steam format, some which may never see the jump at all. here's hoping we can meet again some sunny days, you brave and foolish bastards. (if you manage to recognize and name them all, you get a prize!)
the base game fools all share a small color palette, around 60 colors in total* (only 4 shades of green and 5 of purple!) so I wanted to try and color all these fellas using that small palette sample**, a fun lil' exercise.
*not counting mung or mordrake, who are egregious outliers (enemy color palette and being from another game altogether)
**some exceptions had to be made, [backpack kid]'s skull uses enemy's shades of purple, [red skulled fella]'s teeth uses mung's colors and [tank driver]'s tank uses colors from the pitiful corpse
