Marigold's new kitchen

I decided to give Ari a whole room for her kitchen/pantry/breakfast nook and I like how it turned out!

Luc and Marigold meet every other day to ensure that her apiary is running smoothly - they spend a lot of time setting up her farm to ensure that the bees have a comfortable home!

Mistgrove Farm: Spring

I finally finished my whooooole farm design and made it to Spring for a photo in full bloom!

This has been such a labor of love as I tried to consider all the things that Marigold would do to entertain the townsfolk on her farm and make use of the land she's committed to cultivate for Mistria's restoration. From a once-cursed (not haunted, despite what Dell says!) orchard of Mistrian cherry trees to the ranching area she tends with Hayden's incredible support, Mistgrove Farm is now complete ♥

Marigold's Cottage

Downstairs - First Floor: Kitchen, dining room, living room, and study.

Marigold looooves her big kitchen and spends much of her downtime baking. Under Honey (her dog)'s constant company, Ari cooks down all of the fruit that the orchard of Mistgrove Farms yields into jams that she sells at the Saturday Market. Also, now that Balor and Ari are learning how to cook at Jo's weekly Cooking Lessons, they're finding a lot of joy in creating things together ♥

Upstairs - Second Floor: Hallway, bathroom, guest room, parlor area, and master bedroom.

Upstairs, we see the big bathroom (listen, I just really loved the black and white tiles), a small guest bedroom down the hallway, then Ari's room! She still has her lamp from the Starlight Festival she went to with Balor - and he keeps his, too! I liked the idea that in lieu of a bedroom door, her room has this biiiiiig archway and she strings up curtains to give a bit more privacy (hence the Mines Arch and Shower Curtain).

I'm really happy with how her little home turned out! These two floors will be the majority of the space I design for Ari's home as I want to use the others for things like Balor's Magical Cart, a fancy room in the Capital, and a whatever else comes to mind.

Update: Ari has an attic and a basement!

Ari has heard - on many occasions - the excited squeals and thumps of the Dragonguard playing. They like to scheme, train, and play in the 'haunted' attic!

Basement: Crafting area, canned food storage, resource storage, and a little bar!

Marigold's basement is... cluttered. She stores a lot of her canning for the Saturday Market where she sells the fruit jams and wines that she makes! Balor and Hemlock have enjoyed many card games and cold beers in this room after he begins spending a noticeable amount of time with the farmer.

P.S I really loved posing the townsfolk and found the sprites on The Spriter's Resource!
