“Yeah, you’re doing awesome, Jiminnie.” Yoongi muttered under his hot breath, moving from side to side and snapping many upon many pictures of the auburn haired boy. The younger smiled warmly for the photo- but at the same time from the praises he got from the photographer, thinking that these might be the best shots of his life. Again. He always thought that. The slightly taller male was amazing at what he was doing, so Jimin would always be in awe of how magical the photos of him looked and would say that “These are the best photos of me!” every time they had to take pictures for magazines or stuff like that. It was until the spring themed photoshoot ended when Yoongi threw a glance at all of the shots before Jimin threw on his snapback and waddled over to the photographer, looking at all of the photos. “Wow.” he whispered, his pouty, gently pink coloured lips parted apart and eyes scanning all the areas of the pixels on the wide screen. “Yeah, I know. You’re that majestic, Minnie.” The male flashed a gummy smile that sent shivers down the younger’s spine- but in a good way.
Yoongi was not only Jimin’s personal favourite photographer but he also was Jimin’s very good friend. He remembers the time where a company under the name ‘’BigHit’’ asked him to take pictures of their famous model Park Jimin. That’s where it all begun. The two got close, they shared secrets, they shared everything. Even now they do, they go to cafes, they go on walks with Yoongi’s dog Min Holly, they do everything together. And so, the older male knows how Jimin is insecure of his whole body, despite being so wanted by a ton of people- females and males literally drool over him, but he still thinks he’s way too chubby, way too fat. So Yoongi, whenever he takes pictures of the other, would always say praises, would always compliment him. It makes both of them happy- Jimin being well complimented and more confident in himself, whilst Yoongi.. Well, he loves seeing the smaller male happy. He loves to make him happy.
“Hyung,” Jimin asked, hands in the pockets of his black shorts, walking from the building of BigHit with Yoongi by his side. He slightly shivered from the cold air that hit his bare legs, but not really showing it. “Yeah?” The male answered, his dark brown hair flowing with the wind and head turnt to look at the other. “I want to tell you something.” Jimin gulped internally, palms already sweaty from just the thought on saying what has been on his mind for the past two years of their friendship. “Why did I do this? Jimin, you’re such an idiot. Stop. Holy shit don’t-” “Let’s go to the beach. Remember that sakura tree? We should go there.” He said and Yoongi raised an eyebrow. “Is it that important? You could have told me it earlier..” ‘‘jimin holy mother of god say nevermi-” “Yes. it’s very important. And I didn’t really want to tell you that, others might have heard it.” “well fuck my life then.” The older let out a “hmpf” sound, head turning back to the road. “I guess we should call a taxi then? If it’s that important.”
After arriving, Jimin cursed himself to no end. It was their 100th photoshoot, maybe he’ll just say a congratulations? What happened in his mind, to take such a quick turn and do this? Maybe Yoongi had something better to do and he was just wasting his time? What if-
“We’re here.” Yoongi smiled and looked at the sakura tree, fascinated by it’s beauty. It was mid-spring, so the tree was in it’s full glory. It’s petals were a gentle shade of pink, just like Jimin’s soft lips- the male thought and chuckled. “This is where our first ever photoshoot was taken.. Can’t believe it has been more than two years.” Yoongi said and turned to look at the younger male, still smiling softly. “Okay, what did you want to tell me?” He asked and Jimin, his right hand playing with the fingers on his left one, shyly smiling walked a bit closer to Yoongi. “It has been over two years hyung..” The boy said before regretting all of life’s choices, looking down on his feet, but the older was listening carefully, a warm and gentle expression on his face- concerned about what was happening. Many thoughts flew around his mind, thinking of what in the world the younger wanted to say. Maybe he got a new photographer? Were they firing him? “I really can’t hide anything anymore.” Jimin looked at Yoongi, a small smile on his face as the wind got stronger. It made flower petals start to gently float around the younger and the photographer wished he could capture this moment. “I like you. I like you, a lot.”
Yoongi blinked a couple of times before noticing how let down the younger was, how his smile faded away after a few seconds of silence. “I- I don’t know how to react.” He grumbled, feeling a loss of words in his mouth, like a rock was stuck in his throat and brain. Everything was so sudden, he didn’t really know what to say or express. “I understand. I know I’m nothing more than you but a friend, but I- I hope that it doesn’t affect our relationship in- in any way.” Jimin said, his eyes tearing up already, making them look like shiny diamonds, so pure and so fragile. Even though Yoongi knew that Jimin wasn’t nothing more than a friend to him, he was definitely more than that, he felt guilty of making the boy cry- or at least tear up. It was unbearable to see. “No, wait, no.” The older finally choked out, hovering his hands over Jimin’s puffy cheeks, gently wiping away one tear drop that rolled down from his eye, making him look up at his hyung. “I like you too.”
