Top model, is it a work? - Fashion 

How do you become Gisele Bundchen? Do we go to a special school to look like her and smash the international fashion community by getting all the covers of magazines on this planet? 

No, there is no school and there is no way to have that many covers of magazines ? But how do we become supermodels? Well, let’s go back first to the 90′s when the original supermodels originates. I am talking about Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista , Christy Turlington, Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer and Kate Moss etc... These women were not the first but often take them as an example because it was at the ground breaking time in Fashion. First, when we look at the iconic trinity = Naomi, Linda and Christy the think this is goal ! Right? they were famous to be rock n roll, sex and drugs. “ I dont get out of the bed for less than 10000$”. 

This glamour life is very popular in the culture of every country. We travel from the US to Brazil and to India to Japan, everywhere you go there is not a country that celebrate the glam life. Ads here and there and snap we are stuck in this life. We become addict and buy all the things that we see. 

Wait, let’s not lose the track of the article here , we come back to how do we become model? I tried when I was 22 or 23 years old to be a model. I love photography and so I tried to be a model but it never happened because I was too tall or too skinny or whatsoever. When I got to the last modeling agency I was sent back home the same minute, “don't waste your time” they said to me. what does it mean? I never tried to understand but I got out with this experience and I promised myself that I will find another activity. 

However, does modeling mean work place? It is not because I have my experience with the modeling agency that I hate this job , I still think it is one of the most nice job out there. Modeling is being an ambassador of a brand ! You have to present either a watch or a new face of a clothing line. it is constant travelling and showing images etc... It can tiring and consuming. Sometimes, you get to lose track of time ! 

Yes, it is a job but often taken as a not a job. Why? Because it is not taken seriously for so many years. People think it is just a cute face on a billboard. If it was only this easy...you have to show up to settings sometimes it is at 4 AM. Sometimes you have to go from one setting to another etc... Little we know about this job but it is a hard life. Models are not supposed to have a long career maybe somewhere around 7 to 10 years but few of them arrange to go beyond and the others just change career. 

How to make it in the modeling world? I don't have any tips... I am sorry but as in every industry out there you must work. There is no party you can attend , instead, you have to show up to work and be on time. Respect the collaboration with the photographer and move on to the next job ! So maybe there is no school but you have in you. Don’t stop !
