Pentimento - pencilmento pencilmento is my word invention. While artists in the past sketched with oil painting, I do it in pencil. Is just how I do it, no spooky reason behind it. Grisaille was used a lot in classical art/Renaissance and meant "drawing" in 1 color the whole canvas, letting that dry to something that looked like a sepia photo. The layers of color came on top of that. I'm just using a pencil for this first stage, as guide.
