Summary: This was a sleep deprived idea when I could hardly sleep so please enjoy this small drabble of Osferth playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons. (Inspiration came from a Pinterest post where a boyfriend was being supportive of their girlfriend who felt bad for kicking an octopus off their island).
Warnings in this one shot: Hate towards ACNH villager Barold. You've been warned.

Friendship Island.
It made you grimace whenever you walked behind your husband while he was sitting on the couch with his Nintendo Switch, Animal Crossing: New Horizons loaded up, and you peeked over his shoulder to view his island. Osferth’s island, dubbed Friendship Island, was filled with the blandest of decorations and the ugliest villagers. You had offered to help him clean up his island and make it look pretty, but he insisted he could do it himself.
You sighed, placing a hand on your rounded stomach while you stood at the stove, stirring the pasta in the boiling pot. Macaroni and cheese with chicken nuggets; that was what your five-year-old daughter requested every Friday night.
“Mama!” You heard your daughter cry, causing your head to snap over, the worst coming to your mind.
“Milli?” You asked, frowning when she hugged your legs tightly, lightly smacking them with the Nintendo Switch in her small hands. “Millicent, what’s wrong?”
Milli sniffled and gave you the switch. The family switch consisted of Osferth’s island. Still, you had to get a second one to play your Animal Crossing save after you got into an argument about wanting to kick a villager off the island. Your husband kindly reminded you that it was rude to judge someone based on their appearance, and he wasn’t wrong, but it was a fictional animal that you were stranded on an island with.
You sighed at the face that was staring back at you on the screen: Barold, a lazy bear villager. He was one of the first villagers to arrive on Friendship Island, and Osferth insisted he was his favorite villager. He is undoubtedly one of the uglier ones you have seen.
“He’s scary, Mama,” Milli whimpered, nuzzling her face into your skirt.
You scrunched your brows, taking a deep breath. You knew Osferth would be upset, but it would be a good start to change his island. You set the switch on the counter before placing a hand on your daughter’s head.
“There is a way to get rid of this scary villager,” you said after a moment.
Millicent sniffled, looking up at you with her big blue doe-like eyes; she was a spitting image of her father. “T-there is?"
You nodded with a soft smile. “But you have to promise not to tell Daddy you’re kicking Barold out.”
“Why?”
“We’re going to leave it as a surprise for him,” you said, poking her nose lightly. “So, do you promise?”
She nodded excitedly. “I promise, Mama!”

Day after day, you waited for your husband to head to work at the local church before Milli ran over to you with the family Switch. You let her play on your island, which you named Cherrykiss Island, as you hunted down the animal print wearing bear. It took nearly a whole week, but you managed to catch Barold deep in thought on a Friday afternoon, strolling along the sandy shores of Friendship Island.
“Milli, come here!” You called to your daughter, who excitedly bounded over and cuddled up to your side as you went to talk to the unwanted villager.
You let Millicent do the honor of telling Barold he should travel outside of the island, smiling at how she beamed to be rid of the villager who had scared her. “Remember, we’re going to keep it a surprise for daddy.”

You were in the nursery, folding onesies varying from pink and frilly to blue and floral, getting everything ready for your daughter’s arrival, when you heard the rushing footsteps. You glanced up, furrowing your brows at the sight of Osferth, who seemed to be in distress.
“Is everything okay, love?” You asked with furrowed brows.
“No, Y/N. It’s not.” Osferth ran his hands through his blonde hair. He looked as though he was about to cry. “I-Is there a way to get a villager back?”
“What?”
“I-I went to visit Barold, and his home was filled with boxes!”
“Oh.” You stood up slowly, placing a hand on your stomach as Osferth tried to control his breathing. “Well…I don’t think you can convince them to stay when they’re in the boxes stage.” You frowned, rubbing his arm lightly. “It’s okay, Osferth. It’s just a game, and he might still visit from time to time.”
Osferth took a deep breath and shook his head. “But-”
“It’s just a game,” you repeated and smiled when he looked at you. You leaned up, kissing his cheek gently. “Maybe Milli thought he could use a new home to live.”
He furrowed his brows, slowly pulling your arm out of his grasp. “Did you have something to do with this?”
You shook your head. “You know I never mess with your Island.” You gave him a sweet smile when he gave you a skeptical look. “Now help me finish stuffing the dressers, then we can work on getting rid of Hippeux.”
“What?”
“Nothing,” you said, giving him a wide smile, knowing that Friendship Island was down one ugly villager—only nine more to go.
Osferth has a weakness, he can't help it. He has a taste for gorgeous women and a good cup of coffee. He always brings flowers and never leaves his lady lonely when it's time to say goodbye.
Summary: modern!Osferth; sent to investigate crimes happening within the church, Osferth faces life outside the cloisters he is used to. Struggling with his heavy burden and the temptations that lurk on every corner, he succumbs to the charms of a neighbor.

This new life Osferth was living, like a borrowed shirt, felt all new. Tight and chafing in odd places, but exciting, vivifying. It made him different.
One night, he followed a vague lead into a steamy basement night club that smelled like sweat and perfume and alcohol, where he watched scantily clad people walk and dance around. He let some drunk woman over a foot shorter than him drag him onto the dance floor and touch him in places he had no interest in being touched. Not by her, at least. He was indifferent, if a little disgusted at points, and in the wee hours before dawn, soaked in his small tub until the water went cold.
Another time, he met with a liaison and had a cigarette just to do it, just because they offered. Just because he could. It stank and made him cough, almost nauseated.
Those things he did not terribly enjoy.
But there were things he liked.
He even thought about getting a pet. The simple, small joys of feeding it and scratching his nails into its soft fur, seeing it sleep in some corner carved out just for that purpose.
He’d never thought he would miss jeans. Or, to be more precise, he never noticed he did miss them. An open collar. Beat up converse like he wore as a kid.
He even liked doing laundry, especially since that one night.
Basket perched on your hip, passing him in the doorway. You’d meant to go, and he meant to let you, but the conversation just kept going, easy and wonderful, only stopping when the constant readjusting of the basket became ridiculous and conspicuous, and you both finally accepted it was time you went.
On his floor, books were littered and splayed open, and he had an enormous undertaking ahead of him. He was searching for things he only half believed could be found, and half hoped were exaggerated if real. Black masses, and Sin Eaters, and too many dreadful deaths. He couldn’t bring himself to face them tonight. It was raining and the world felt small, shrunken to the dimensions of his tiny apartment and he wanted to breathe, wanted to feel something other than despair.
He was allowed to leave his order, and temporarily relinquish some of his duties. He wore everyday clothes, he didn’t have to pray or attend mass when he had other work, didn’t have to follow strict doctrines on comportment. Even vows of chastity and poverty could be bent and ignored on occasion, if it brought him closer to the answers he was seeking. More and more, however, he sought not to bend, but break. Break unbreakable things, he reminded himself, and it felt like drowning on dry land.
His wishes, half-concealed even from himself, brought you out in the hallway at the right time, as he stood in the doorway, leaning his long, lean body against the frame, unsure where to go, what to do with himself. He wondered if his throat pounded as you chatted, his heart firmly lodged in it.
He accepted the drink you offered, if he had nothing better to do. He would have dropped it all, even if he did.
No, he didn’t want wine. It reminded him of church too much. You didn’t need to know that part.
So now he stood in the doorway of your kitchen, shoes off and toes curling on the floorboards, watching as you looked around for something else to drink. Body moving casually, like he wasn’t on pins and needles, opening cupboards, stretching to reach the elegant glasses stacked in a neat row; the silence thick and heavy.
He fought and dismissed the urge to run, to close himself off, and let the moment wash over him, wondering had he ever really been on a date?
Was it like this?
Talking vacuously, not even hearing the words that fall on your ears as you try to appear fine, nonchalant; telling your hands to stay put, ordering your body not to move on theirs; cursing at your eyes when they glance at what you want, sure you’ve been caught and found out…
He didn’t avert his eyes over the rim of the glass when he drank. You looked away and flushed, and talked so sweetly, low and intimate, susurrating like the rain batting at the windows.
He draped an arm over the couch and listened, not bothering to extinguish the stars of infatuation in his eyes.
Was it like this?
When people like each other, unabashedly, when they don’t struggle against the pull they feel?
From one moment to the next, he knew, it revealed itself to him, forcefully and beyond doubt. It was exactly like this. His cheeks burned. He was in the middle before he knew anything had started.
He watched your nails, painted a shade of purple and dusted with iridescent glitter. You made a quick little wave with your fingers, and he looked away instead of meeting your eyes, wanting to keep his desires and affections, like an open wound gaping in his gaze, to himself.
Did he like the color, you asked, meeting his shyness with tenderness.
He did, he admitted, running the tips of his fingers over the length of your fingernails, feeling the gritty texture of glitter and the smooth coat of polish, and then your skin against his palm. He liked everything about you.
*
Kissing was easy enough. He met you in the middle, and it was a light brush of lips on lips. He pressed closer and sighed when you touched his face, running your thumb over his cheekbone. The kiss fell away with a gentle pop, and his head swam. Again. Please. He was afraid he’d said it out loud when you smiled and leaned back in. It was longer then, and deeper, and he was sure he died a little when your mouth parted and his tongue smoothed over yours. Osferth was firmly in his head, eyes snapping open every now and then, checking if you liked it.
When he moved away, face hidden in the crook of your neck, his stomach twisted. Oh, god, you would know. You would figure out any moment he had barely any clue what he was doing, hands unsure and flitting away before they really touched or grasped anything, palms buzzing to stay. Would it be too much?
Did you mind that his open mouth was on your neck? Maybe he was going too far, too soon? It seemed too easy, too simple, to just do what he wanted, get away with it, be welcomed. There had to be some catch.
He was rescued from himself when your hand slipped into his, one finger at a time slithering between his and curling around the knuckles to hold him fast, body arching under him. He fell, and fell, and fell, and was caught.
Note: surprise. I said I wasn't going to post or even write a fic at all today, but this came to me after a nap and I wrote it within a few hours. soooo... this is just a silly little fic that I hope will entertain you.

Masterlist
You friends Gisela and Eadith couldn't stand the sight of you being miserable anymore. It had been over six months since your last relationship ended, and they felt it was time for you to go out and have fun again. You had been hesitant at first, but soon realised they were right and you agreed to tag along. They made movie reservations and promised there would be cute guys, but you didn't really care about any of that right now, you just wanted a fun night. You only knew Uhtred, as he was Gisela's boyfriend, and you had only heard of the other guys by their names; Finan, Sihtric and Osferth. The plan was to meet up at a pub, play some pool and then go and see the latest horror movie all together.
You were the last to arrive at the agreed spot, and your friends quickly introduced you to the guys you didn't know yet. Osferth, a cute blond guy, shyly smiled and shook hands with you and you noticed he kept staring at you the whole time after. Finan was dark haired and muscular, he spoke with an Irish accent and gave you a bear hug. He was handsome and friendly, but you could tell he was more interested in Eadith and you couldn't blame him for that. Then there was Sihtric, who had duo-coloured eyes and a haircut that was half shaved off. You weren't sure if you thought he was attractive or incredibly intimidating, but he gave you a tight hug and let his hand linger on your waist when you both pulled back. You felt yourself blush and were happy that Uhtred soon drew everyone's attention when he announced he'd pay for the first round of drinks.
'Did you bring your own wallet?' Gisela asked.
'Of course!' Uhtred smiled, but he later found out that he had in fact not brought his wallet, and Gisela had to pay for it.
The pub was rather quiet and there were several pool tables free to play at. While you enjoyed a drink with Sihtric, Osferth had been trying to gather the courage to ask you to compete against him for the past twenty minutes, but he found it hard to get your attention as Sihtric had never left your side since you were introduced. You didn't mind Sihtric's company, because he turned out to be soft spoken, sweet and funny. Osferth took a step towards you and then back again, and he kept that going for at least five more minutes. Then, when he finally walked up to you and opened his mouth to speak, Sihtric beat him to the question.
'Want to play some pool?' the Dane asked you.
You happily agreed and Sihtric took your hand, walking you to the pool table, much to Osferth's disappointment and he was left with no partner to play with. While Sihtric prepared the table, Osferth saw another chance, and he came up to you as you stood at the side.
'Can I maybe join you guys?' he asked.
Sihtric gave Osferth a hard stare, meaning no, but you felt bad for the shy boy and told him that it was okay. Before the game could begin, you were pulled to the bathroom by your girlfriends to ask you if you were enjoying yourself and if you enjoyed the company.
'I think Sihtric and Osferth like you,' Gisela said as you all checked your hair and make-up in the mirror.
'Really?' you frowned, 'I'm not sure…'
'They totally do,' Eadith grinned, 'Sihtric can't keep his eyes off you, and I haven't seen him smile like that since forever.'
'And Osferth has been gathering all his courage to talk to you,' Gisela chuckled.
While your friends tried to peak your interest in the guys in front of the bathroom mirror, Sihtric walked over to Osferth while holding a cue stick.
'What are you doing?' Sihtric asked and leaned on the stick, towering over Osferth.
'What do you mean?' Osferth asked innocently.
'Dude, you're being a cockblock.'
'What? I'm not-'
'Yes, you are,' Sihtric clicked his tongue, 'why can't you play pool with the others?'
'Because Uhtred gets annoyed when he loses and Finan cheats.'
Sihtric knew Osferth had a valid point, but he still wasn't happy about him joining.
'Fine,' Sihtric eventually said, and he looked at Osferth for a moment, 'do you like her?'
'Who?'
'The new girl,' Sihtric rolled his eyes.
'Oh,' Osferth's cheeks turned bright red, 'I… I don't know, m-maybe, I- I guess- why?'
'Just asking,' Sihtric said, and he cursed under his breath as he walked back to the other side of the table.
And Osferth smiled, because he was very aware of what he was doing, and he wasn't planning on letting Sihtric win this easily.
Not much later you returned with your friends, and while Eadith and Gisela went back to their own pool partners, the game officially began for Sihtric and Osferth. But their goal was not to win pool, it was to win your heart by the end of the night. And poor Osferth didn't know it yet, but he didn't stand a chance. You thought he was cute, but he wasn't your type, and you just wanted to include him because he was adorable and you wanted everyone to have a fun night. Sihtric was pretty decent at pool, while you and Osferth sucked at it. Sihtric saw the opportunity to teach you some tricks, and so he gladly did while Osferth couldn't do anything other than watch how the Dane got close to you. It was a classic trick in the flirting book; Sihtric stood behind you and helped you to take on a better position, and then he showed you how to hold the cue stick properly while your hands and bodies touched. Osferth gritted his teeth as he watched the scene unfold and he crossed his arms, annoyed. While Sihtric helped you out, he looked up at Osferth and grinned proudly. When it was Osferth's turn again, Sihtric walked past him and slapped his shoulder, hard, 'One-nil,' he said and winked.
You were oblivious to their rivalry, but then you really only had eyes for Sihtric anyway. After a few rounds of playing pool you went to get yourself a drink at the bar. Sihtric was quick to follow you, after he had shoved Osferth back who wanted to attempt that same thing, and he snuck up behind you. He wrapped his arms around your waist and lifted you up, making you squeal lightly in his arms while Osferth could only stand back and watch, again. You giggled when Sihtric put you back down on your feet, and he kept one arm around you as he stood next to you. He leaned on the bar and looked at you, completely smitten, and you knew you had the exact same look on your face. You had never met a guy as breathtaking as him before and you were going to take your chances with him, even if maybe he was only looking for a fling; you were single and looking for a good time.
Sihtric bought you a drink and you both walked back to the pool tables, but you stopped just before the short stairs that led down to the table's floor, and you both decided to have your drinks at a high table that looked out over your friends and the games they played. At first you and Sihtric stood on opposite sides of the table as you had some small talk, but he smoothly moved closer and circled his arm around your waist again after a little while. He pulled you in and it felt almost natural to place one hand on his waist while you nervously played with the straw in your drink that was on the table with your free hand.
'Hey,' Sihtric said and leaned in closer, his warm voice made you melt instantly, 'you okay?'
'Yeah,' you mumbled and smiled shyly.
'Yeah?' he murmured and pulled you flush against him, 'you okay with me?'
'Mhm,' you hummed with reddened cheeks.
Your hand snuck around his waist and under his zipped hoodie, while Sihtric swayed you lightly and he chuckled.
'Yeah?' he asked again, 'you don't mind me? Don't mind this?' he asked, his lips grazing your temple as he spoke.
'I don't mind it,' you smiled, clearly even more shy.
You tried to look away from Sihtric, but he followed you with his eyes and he smiled.
'Oh, don't be shy with me,' he purred and bit down on his lip, then circled his other arm around you as well and almost leaned his forehead against yours.
'Yeah, well,' you mumbled and laughed softly while butterflies rushed through your stomach.
You felt safe and comfortable in his strong arms, and he smelled nice too. Sihtric was more affectionate than anyone you'd ever been with before, but you enjoyed his harmless clingy nature.
He trailed his hands slowly up and down your sides, his mismatched eyes still fixated on you while you looked up at him. The tension grew, and you both slowly leaned in closer until you almost kissed. But just before your lips touched you were both pulled out of your little love bubble when Osferth suddenly cleared his throat next to you. Sihtric looked at his friend, annoyed, and Osferth smiled sheepishly.
'If you guys could finish your drinks,' Osferth said, 'then we can go to the movie theatre.'
'Oh,' you said, a little disappointed by the buzz kill, 'eh, yeah, sure.'
Sihtric only glared at Osferth without saying a word, and you both finished your drinks soon after. Sihtric took out his phone after he had put on his jacket and he suddenly felt nervous when he wanted to ask for your number. He noticed you looked over at him while you grabbed your own coat, and he pretended to be very busy on his phone as he tried to calm his heartbeat. You couldn't help but smile, and your friends hadn't been blind to the chemistry between you and the pretty Danish boy.
'Do you like him?' Gisela asked.
'You don't mind him being all over you?' Eadith asked, 'because that's just how he is.'
'If he's too much you can just tell him,' Gisela added.
'Girls, calm down,' you rolled your eyes, 'everything is fine.'
'More than fine it seems,' Eadith grinned and nudged your elbow.
'Stop it,' you hissed, but your smile betrayed your feelings to your friends.
'He's sweet, just not the brightest,' Eadith then snorted.
'What?' you laughed, 'what do you mean?'
'Well,' Eadith began, but she was hushed by your other friend.
Gisela saw Sihtric walk over and she quickly pulled Eadith with her, away from you, but staying close enough to eavesdrop.
'So,' Sihtric began and cleared his throat, 'eh, would you… I mean, is it okay if like… I… can I have your number?'
You smiled and told him it was okay, and he began to search for his phone. You waited for him to get his phone and watched him search his pockets, but then you noticed he held his phone in his hand already.
'Hold on,' Sihtric chuckled, 'I misplaced my phone,' he mumbled as he searched the inside pockets of his jacket.
'Eh,' you laughed, 'I… think you're holding it?'
'What?'
'You're holding it.'
'Where?' Sihtric frowned, then looked down at his hand, 'oh,' he said, then laughed and shook his head, 'sorry.'
So he was not the brightest indeed, but he was still cute. You gave him your number and your friends gave you a proud smile when you looked at them as you all headed out of the pub. Osferth sulked behind you and Sihtric, and he sighed when he saw the Dane smoothly intertwine his fingers with yours as you crossed the street, and he looked back over his shoulder to mouth 'Two-nil,' to Osferth. You looked up at Sihtric and smiled, after which he let go of your hand and wrapped his arm around your shoulders. You strolled through the city, to the movie theatre, while you and Sihtric continued to chat and got to know a little more about each other.
'Are you excited for the movie?' Sihtric asked as you approached the theatre.
'Not really,' you confessed, to which he laughed.
'You don't like horror?'
'I'm okay with it, just not on the big screen.'
'Scared easily?'
'Yep,' you chuckled.
'Well,' Sihtric shrugged, 'I heard they reserved tickets for the lounge chairs.'
'Lounge chairs?'
'Yeah, you know, I think they're actually called loveseats. It's basically a small couch. So,' he smiled, 'if you get scared you can always hide in my arms,' he winked.
'I might just do that,' you smiled shyly again, and Sihtric was being a gentleman by holding the entrance door open for you.
Osferth was still behind you, and Sihtric was fast to let go of the door so it almost hit Osferth in the face. And Sihtric looked back over his shoulder as he held your hand again, and he mouthed 'Three-nil,' to Osferth with a grin, who huffed in reply.
Osferth finally saw his chance with you. Sihtric and Uhtred were talking while you and the girls got into a conversation too, and you all walked up to your seats. Gisela was going to sit with Uhtred, everyone knew that, and Eadith sat down next to Finan. As Uhtred excused himself to move past you and the others, to Gisela, you sat down on an empty loveseat and Osferth was quick to sit next to you while you tucked your coat under the seat.
'Oh,' you said, softly, surprised to see that it was not Sihtric who had sat down next to you.
You looked up at Sihtric, who had his jaw clenched and glared at Osferth, Osferth was smirking next to you and held up one finger to him, 'Three-one,' he mouthed. You and Sihtric exchanged eye contact and you shrugged lightly, not knowing how to politely ask Osferth to move without making him feel bad. Sihtric sighed and moved past you, to the last empty seat and he sat down. He looked at Osferth again, who sat on his side, and if looks could kill then Osferth would've been smited right there. You awkwardly sat next to Osferth and you texted Sihtric.
You: sorry, he just sat down :(
You looked at Sihtric as he read your text, then he looked up at you and shrugged with a smile.
Sihtric: not your fault darling, it's okay…
You: but what if the movie is scary????
Sihtric: oh, I heard it's very scary ;)
Sihtric: I'm afraid you'll have to cuddle up with Osferth
Sihtric watched you read his message, and laughed when he saw you make a face. You grimaced and looked at Sihtric, who laughed and shrugged again. You tried to come up with a way to make Osferth swap seats with Sihtric, but Osferth was only interested in making conversation with you.
'So,' Osferth said, 'do you like horror movies?'
'Not really,' you said.
'Oh, me neither,' Osferth smiled, 'I get scared easily.'
'Oh,' you chuckled awkwardly and swallowed hard.
You looked over at Sihtric, who was laughing as he pulled the neck of his zipped hoodie half over his face to cover up his amusement. He then looked at you and cocked his head, gesturing you to come over and sit with him. You contemplated your options, and then had an idea to make it less painful for Osferth. You scrolled through social media, and when you saw a random meme you held your phone up towards Sihtric.
'Have you seen this one already?' you asked.
Sihtric leaned in and squinted his eyes, knowing what you were trying to do, and he fought a smile.
'I can't see what it says from here,' he said.
'Oh, hold on,' you said and got up, 'I just gotta show him this one photo,' you told Osferth, who said it was okay and didn't think much of it.
But then he saw you sit down next to Sihtric, who immediately wrapped his arm around you and pulled you against his side as he looked at your phone.
'Smooth,' Sihtric chuckled in your ear.
And while you locked your phone and cuddled up even closer, Sihtric looked over to Osferth, who looked bamboozled and slightly annoyed.
'Four-one,' Sihtric mouthed.
Osferth sighed, annoyed once again, and he mouthed, 'Fuck y-', but then the lights went out as the movie was about to start, and he watched the entire movie with a straight face and his arms crossed.
You and Sihtric got cosy, and it didn't take long before the suspense of the movie became too much, and you buried your face in his chest. Sihtric smiled and wrapped both arms around you. Your friends were all captivated by the movie as it went on, except for Osferth, but he refused to watch you and Sihtric all cuddled up. Sihtric lightly stroked your side with his thumb, and when you looked away from the big screen again as the movie showed too much gore for your liking, he smoothly lifted your chin with his fingers and softly nuzzled your nose. You both smiled while the blood splashed on screen, and then he cupped your cheek. Sihtric pecked your lips lightly at first, carefully seeking out how far you wanted to take it, but his light pecks slowly turned into firmer kisses, and you soon french kissed until you both ran out of breath.
Your friends had all been oblivious to the fact that you and Sihtric were busy sticking your tongues down each other's throats and feeling each other up through your clothes, and he settled his hands on your buttocks after you had pulled your legs up to the couch.
'Cheeky lady,' Sihtric whispered, smiling, when you teasingly rubbed your hand over his bulge and he squeezed your ass, 'maybe we should finish this back at my place?' he said, 'or yours?'
'You want to wait that long?' you teased.
'Well, no,' he chuckled, 'what do you have in mind then?'
'The toilets are quite big here,' you whispered in his ear, and you looked at him to see him bite down a sly smile.
'Lead the way,' he winked.
You held Sihtric's hand as you got up and walked past Osferth, quietly leaving the theatre room to have some fun together in a locked toilet stall, and Osferth gave up when he realised why you two were sneaking out of the movie. He huffed and rolled his eyes at Sihtric, who smiled and mouthed, 'Game over.'

Summary: You’re in the middle of being worshipped to heaven by your husband, only your daughter can’t sleep…
Warnings: Hints at smut, innocent child, religious talk,
Tags: @slytherincursebreaker
It had taken nearly half an hour to get your daughter to finally get into her bed and fall asleep. You tried reading her her favourite stories, you tried tucking her in bed with todays favourite teddy bears, you even tried promising her with a day with only her uncle Finan and uncle Sihtric, which you know would’ve only made Osferth sigh and worry about if you were forced to tell him.
Though by the end, after all that, all it took for her to close her eyes and sleep, was for you to promise that for tomorrow instead of her normal Honey Loop cereal, she got to have pancakes with chocolate chips and a drizzle of honey on top. You were already dreading the sugar high you know will absolutely happen, but at least for now you could finally get into bed and sleep and cuddle next to your loving husband.
“Is she finally asleep?” Osferth asks as you close the bedroom door behind you and get into bed.
“Yeah… just to warn you though, you’ll need to buy some flour in the morning love. May have needed to barter with her and it included chocolate chip pancakes with syrup…” You smile as you burrow into your husbands warm bare chest and sigh with relief.
You can feel the vibrations of his laugh as he chuckles lightly. “That’s our girl! Taking after her mother!”
“Excuse me mister!” You exclaim, hitting him jokingly on the chest with the back of your hand slightly. You go back to cuddling his chest, but as you feel your eyes begin to droop, the feeling of Osferths lips trailing the skin of your exposed shoulder, certainly begins to stir you. “What are you doing Os?” You mumble, smiling slightly as you become more vigilant the closer his lips get to the inner curve of your shoulder.
“Just showing appreciation to my gorgeous wife, and our daughters oh so beautiful mother…” He murmurs, turning the both of you over so you’re on your back, and he has better access to your lips. The sound of your lips smacking filling the room as the two of you hold each other.
His hands move to the edge of your sleeping shorts, and slowly take them off so your left half bare to him under the sheets. “Such a wonderful perfect wife…” Osferth smiles as his hand begins to trace circles on your clit, and he greedily takes in your pleasure stained face.
He suddenly stops, much to your annoyance, but your mood certainly brightens as his hands move to take off his own underwear and now totally bare himself to you, the sight of him never not a turn on for you.
Osferth makes no hesitation in entering you, groaning deeply at the feeling of you automatically clenching your walls on him, as if you were attempting to pull him deeper inside of you. “Always amazing you utter goddess…” He murmurs leaning forward to kiss you deeply whilst you moan softly.
“Careful sweet husband… is your faith not monotheistic?”
“You of all people my wife should know I abandoned the reigns of my faith long ago… and I shall abandon them once more as I worship you tonight…” If those words didn’t affect you in some way, then there must be something wrong with you, as when you heard them you could feel yourself become somehow more aroused than you already were.
His thrusts though, soon find themselves becoming rougher and rougher, as the tip of his cock hits that part deep inside of you that you yourself could never reach. At the sudden sensation though, you automatically clench down on him in pleasure and dig your nails into the skin of his shoulders slightly, smiling at the sound of his light groans hitting your ears.
You can feel yourself becoming close, a feat Osferth always manages to achieve with you, always leaving you satisfied and wanting more. The knot in your lower stomach becomes tighter the harsher Osferth pushes himself inside of you, and your arms once digging into his shoulders move to the sheets to clench between your fists for stability.
You’re almost there, you know Osferth only needs to thrust a couple times before you-
“Mummy, Daddy? What are you doing?”
The room immediately turns stuffy and panicky as both you and Osferths heads snap to the direction of your daughters voice. Your cheeks feel as if they’re on fire as a harsh blush takes over not only on your face, but your husbands aswell. She looks so innocent, just standing there in her new pyjamas and holding her stuffed bunny that the two of you got her for her birthday.
“Mummy and daddy are tickle fighting!” Osferth exclaims. From the corner of your eye you can see the deep blush spreading to his neck, and if the moment wasn’t so serious you would’ve made a joke. Instead, you glare harshly at his sudden used excuse while he looks back at you sheepishly.
“A tickle fight! Can I join-“
“NO!” This time, the both of you exclaim it as quick as you can. The panic clear in each others eyes and voices, and yet your daughter is still oblivious. She still continues, to your and Osferths relief, to just stare at the both of you with a bright smile on her face.
“It’s a… grown up tickle.. fight… it’s not for you! Because-“
“Because it’s very very advanced!” You chime in. You almost regret saying no at the sight of your dejected daughters face and the small sad “Oh…” She makes at your and Osferths stumblings, but then you remember the situation you’re in, and you certainly don’t feel as bad as you did before.
“Well I hope you win mummy, because daddy’s winning!” She chirps in, looking happy once more before leaving and closing the door behind her, to hopefully go back to her bedroom and sleep. Still, you and Osferth anxiously wait with held breaths until it’s been long enough, and soon the two of you are giggling in a mixture of shock, shame and disbelief.
“Oh my god…” You mutter in disbelief, both your faces still red, though what once was due to pure horror and shock now stay that way due to pure disbelief and amusement. “I probably need to go check on her…” Osferth removes himself from you, the passion once prominent in the room now quickly depleted after the incident. You place a quick kiss to Osferths forehead before putting on your sleeping shorts once more and heading to the direction of your daughters room.
You peak in slightly, and your heart instantly warms at the sight of your daughter sleeping soundly in her bed cuddled up to her rabbit. The soft blue of her nightlight casting a light glow that washes over her, while the sound of her light snores make it to your ears. “Night night little one…” You whisper by instinct, not even really caring if she heard you or not, as you close the door back up and head back to your room.
This time, both you and Osferth actually go to sleep. Giving into the need for rest as you cuddled with each other, relishing in the warmth the two of you provide each other with.
“Love you…” You hear murmured quietly in your ear.
“Love you too handsome…” You instinctively whispered back with a small smile.
