He laid everything out on Alyssa's bed and began pointing out each item. "This one is a sort of collar-choker piece and I haven't figured out exactly what I'll pair it with, but wouldn't a plunging v-neck be delectably risqué? This silver and turquise collar is angelic, especially if worn over a cute sweater. As for this one, hm, it looks rather like a shawl, doesn't it love? A white, thinly knit sweater, and definitely a topknot for my hair. I really like this necklace, doesn't it give the impression of wintry flowers? I can't decide whether I like white or grey better to pair with it. I do wear a lot of white, but it could be the snowy backdrop for the flowers."

Zek paused to take a breath, giving a momentary, false impression that he was finished, before launching into the last piece of jewelry. "This I found in a sweet little shop, the cashiers were so adorable, and the necklace is simply absolutely my style, don't you think Alyssa? Well, what do you think of them? Please give me your honest opinion."

headcanon: blue

While people tend to dress babies in blue or pink to distinguish between genders, modern!Zek has never understood the appeal of such a mentality. Why should people only receive pink and blue balloons and baby blankets? For that reason, he started a project to create a line of baby things that used a wider array of colors for both genders. But he became distracted with other interests and the project was never finished.

"Oh we shouldn’t, love," Zek answered. "Too much sugar intake, especially at night, will lead to puffy faces and eyes." He looked over at Chani with a puppy expression. "Well, maybe just one? We can cut them into cute shapes!"
