Again, not a single weekend without that graphic doing a fuckup
Not a single weekend without a single fuckup from the f1 name graphics teams
Having a moment
Outside of my enjoyment of classic f1 and the first moto3 race that i ever watched, the one thing that has influenced me the most, not only how I perceive nascar but motorsport in general, is this video
its the poetic narrative, the history of the death, changes, triumph and loses on the track, how this track (like many others historic places) still has a presence to get playing a role as if it where an entity that decided the fate of everyone who drives there, how the narrators take time to explain nascar concepts in a very seamless way while still maintaining the co4e narrative... Just a extremely well done pice on narrative storytelling and all the things that happens around a single sport that influence the meaning on anything that happens there, like some quotes:
"The funny thing about NASCAR is that if you watched long enough, everything comes full circle."
"It takes all of us to avoid destruction. It only takes one to create it."
"The Micosukke car is being pursued by the Army and National Guard cars."
"Produces no winners only survivors."
"The number 38 M&M Ford must have covered the length of a football field without touching the ground."
Its so great that I might watch Talladega Nights just to laugh and fully comprehend that part 😭😭
This sprint has thought me that I enjoy f1 100% more if I clown on everyone (and watch what tennis on the side but 🤫)
Mad about Matador form Fabulosos cadillacs being in f1 content again
going through the panama entries on the list of intangible cultural heritage > ritual and festival expressions of the congo culture > pictures
my fellow panamenian countryman practicing congo rituals with a ferrari shirt on, a really nice one at that
I lost that amazing podium but also this amount of cars not finishing
