So I always struggle with Modern AUs because my brain thinks it’s been given free reign either to remake television series with Dragon Age characters (especially those series where everyone lives together and/or next door to each other) or to force Dragon Age characters to fit the sorry sodden mould of this world and sprinkle some magic on top. While that’s a lot of fun, the end result doesn’t feel a whole lot like Thedas and that bothers me. This time around, I wanted to challenge myself and try to stay as close as possible to what we see in the game.
TL;DR: Morowa is still the Inquisitor and she meets Sera while ‘on business’ in Orlais.
