I Didn’t Realize a Custom Sofa Could Change My Living Room This Much
Two years I spent blaming the curtains, the rug, the lighting for why my living room never felt right. It was the sofa.
I had one of those generic beige three-seaters you just point at in furniture stores in dubai when you're tired and need something to sit on. fine shape. dead cushions by month four. completely standard, no way to fix it.
So I actually looked this time. did the research. found antarria custom furniture, made in dubai, you pick the fabric and size and finish. went through everything: modular sofa options, large sectional sofas, the marshmallow sofa (so soft looking, genuinely), the sairah corner sofa, the ashley furniture sofa sets.
Ended up with a custom modular in warm grey. made for my corner. modern sofa design that actually fits the room instead of fighting it.
When it arrived the room got bigger. Everything I already owned suddenly looked like it belonged together. cushions that held their shape. the right depth. actual comfort.
I sat down and thought about the two years I spent thinking it was the lighting.
