Released by EA Black Box in 2004 as the open-world sequel to Underground, expanding street racing and customization with a free-roaming city called Bayview. The game emphasized deep visual and performance tuning, new race modes, and a vibrant nighttime racing aesthetic that defined the era’s racing games.
