The Goldstein sisters who taught at the University of Minneapolis and wrote Art in Every Day Life insisted that the decorative arts, including textiles, were just as important as the fine arts, and pointed to the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel as proof.
This exhibition too questions the sharp division of the fine arts from textile arts by focusing on modernism. It runs through May 7, 2023
