madrid, chicago, toronto :)

madrid - describe your aesthetic: i like simple things, simple, basic materials and fabrics. i don’t like flashy, harsh colours, neons, bright lights. everything needs to be soft and warm. things have to be comfortable, yet classy. i don’t follow trends - i like things that can be used for years. i do like patterns but i tend to choose one-colour things.

chicago - what do you ache for: i cannot name the thing that i ache for. but sometimes i feel this inexplicable longing that has much to do with some kind of independence and a lot to do with my expectations about the future (which i also haven’t named yet)

toronto - describe your ideal partner: kind, mature and sweet. loyal and faithful. i mean it. one wrong turn and we’re done, i don’t forgive easily and i’m very picky. i would love my partner to be intelligent and have strong personality. i don’t like people who don’t have opinions and are ignorant jerks. wow now that i read it sounds very conservative in a way. but that’s what i would like my partner to be. patient, clever dedicated and for life.

visitor, warmth, finds

visitor: what creature visits your dreams most often? i often dream about people - my friends and family. but when it comes to creatures i think it’s mostly cats and bats that visit my dreams. what is interesting though is that in my nightmares i often dream of spiders and giant wasps. there are hardly any people.

warmth: what do you find most charming in others? i love it when people are enthusiastic about what their love. i really like the look on their faces when they feel that they are accepted and their thoughts are important. i like it when people smile for no reason or when they do tiny little things they don’t know are special for others.

finds: what kind of item would you most likely buy from an antique store? an old lamp probably. or a brass candlestick. or a pocket watch.

Author You’ve Read The Most Books From – when i click the Most Read Authors on my bookshelf on goodreads it tells me it’s William Shakespeare. next one is Lemony Snicket but only because i’ve read his Series of Unfortunate Events. then i have Murakami and Gaiman. but my bookshelf on goodreas fails to mention Astrid Lindgren and i’m pretty sure i’ve read almost everything she had written.

Currently Reading – actually i’ve just finished The Burglar Caught by a Skeleton And Other Singular Tales from the Victorian Press and i don’t know what should i read next. Gone Girl or Golden Notebook? Help!

11. That book you know isn’t too good yet it holds a special place in your heart.I think I can’t answer this question. I’ve been thinking two days about it and I still can’t think of one that falls into these two categories. I think the problem is that I just can’t label a  book that has a special place in my heart as not very good in terms or heartless rating. Special place in my heart comes with my undying love for everything that books stands for.Or maybe let’s just say that I have an impeccable taste in literature and I simply don’t read bad books.

12. One book/series you would love to be adapted into a movie or TV show.A few months ago I’d have said “Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell” but now when the tv series is confirmed I will say: Master & Margarita with Mads Mikkelsen as Woland.

14. Your ‘what the heck did just happen’ moment from a book.My first thought was Ned Stark’s death in “The Game of Thrones”. Later I got used to George R. R. Martin’s constant killing off of his characters and now it doesn’t impress me anymore.

Angelus from Buffy/Angel or T-Bag from Prison Break, I really loved him too. It’s two… oh well.

5. Favourite episode from any show you watch? (Or just an episode you love)

Right now, I’d say The Name of the Doctor from Doctor Who, because after it aired I watched it for like 4 or 5 times in a row.

Hm… Doctor Who - eleven era. Though my favourites are changing quite often with my moods and interests.

Not really fond of AU recently, I read a fairly good amount of high school AU when I was younger, but not anymore.

egyetértek ezzel a telefonálás üggyel amúgy, pár hónapja még nekem is gyomoridegem volt tőle, ha vkit fel kellett hívnom, de ma már napi szinten beszélek idegenekkel és már cseppet sem hat meg a dolog. ügyet intézek, faxolok, egyszer vmi segélyhívó számot is fel kellett hívnom a nap közepén, amíg öten álltak a sorban, mert elromlott a bankkártya terminál... persze még mindig utálok telefonálni, de már nem hat meg ha ismeretlenekkel kell beszélnem \o/

legalább valamire jó, ha az embernek van ilyesfajta munkája, ahol muszáj telefonon beszélnie, különben semmi sem készülne el. :))
