17. Do you write your story from start to finish, or do you write the scenes out of order?
I write from start to finish. However, sometimes I do insert things at the start or in the middle if I think it improves the flow. If I get stuck, I write a narration for myself (which I’ll edit later, of course) and then move forward. I have to write in order.
26. Do you beta yourself? If so, what kind of beta are you?
I do! Here’s my tag for it. I mostly focus on characterization, reading flow, and word choice. I am particular with how the story is told and the reader’s experience. I edit spelling and grammar, too, of course, but storytelling edits are my priority. Of course if they author wanted me to just check spelling and grammar, I try to keep my edits within those parameters, unless I come across something that really bugs me.
