First of All, Sorry. Second of All, Your Answers.

1) We apologize for the lack of answering and aesthetic making. Summer has sort of bitten us in our American asses and we haven’t made the time to come to this blog in the past couples weeks. Hopefully this post will the be the start of something consistent again. 

2) The next two questions will be answered in this post separate from the others because it’s questioning the some of the things and it’s a wordy answer. 

“Hey. I have a question about your Dirk kins, and how you came to Identify them. Exactly that. How? I have been suspecting one, but I'm not sure if it's him yet, so are there any ways I can clarify if it's him or not before doing a pendlum check? And would the same method work if I find myself questioning other kins?”

“Do you have any advice for figuring out your kin in general? I’ve always felt that there’s a part of me that’s not... me I guess? And I really want to look into it but I have no idea where to start. Any advice?”

Regarding your Dirkkin, if you suspect it’s him, it probably is. I learned after gaining kin after kin that my gut instinct is usually right. It’s not 100%, but it’s hard to deny a possible kin once you’ve already started to identify said kin. In my case, sometimes all I have to do is ask, “Are you Dirk?” and I will get an answer. 

As for other methods of finding out your kin, each process is different depending on the person. I know some that benefit from meditation and get answers from their kins or kintype that way. Other’s, like me, go through a list of traits and characters I know that match those traits. If all else fails, ask friends with fandoms you aren’t in if they remind them of anybody. Personally, because I own a pendulum, I like to use my pendulum when I’m really not sure. 

There’s really no right or wrong way to go about this kind of thing. You and your chemical make-up are different from everybody else’s. A lot of it is a matter of finding out what works for you.
