Doesn't it happen to you that you have a ship mainly because both characters are your favorites? Well, this ship is for me. I'll work on their dynamic later... I guess.

Their connection wasn't immediate, but it was inevitable. Between training sessions, inside jokes, growing up alongside the whole team, and glances that lingered a second longer than necessary, something began to form. Specifically after the events of the film.

Modo fell in love first—or at least he was the first to show it without restraint, it was like if they were already dating but without realizing they were dating. Even they were about to kiss until Will said. "Wait. Are we something?". So then there, they finally become boyfriends.

Modo loves without reservation: he holds Will's hand in public, hugs him around the waist without warning, kisses his cheek in front of anyone. He tells him how much he loves him without fear, repeating "I love you" a thousand times a second.

Will, on the other hand, in love is more chill. Sometimes Modo's intensity overwhelms him a little. There are moments when he still looks at him and thinks, "He's so strange." But he says it affectionately, with that mixture of disbelief and tenderness that only arises when you deeply love someone. Because even though Modo is chaotic, impulsive, and excessively demonstrative, he's always there, he's unfiltered and honest, he's there when everything is too much, helping him...on his style.

And Will loves him. He loves his weirdness, even when he doesn't understand it. He loves the way he touches him, shows him off, talks about him as if he were the greatest achievement of his life. He loves that Modo is authentic… and that he doesn't ask Will to be anything other than himself.
