Send me Dear ___ and my muse will write a letter to that person!
Takumi sighs, leaning back a bit and looking over the letter. It easily took him all afternoon to write, mostly because he won’t settle for anything less than his best work. If it’s for his sister, then she deserves all he can give her, even if it takes him countless hours to get it right.
“Dear Kamui,” he murmurs, reading the letter back to himself with tired eyes. “I know I’m not too good at this type of thing, but I still want to do it. You’re my sister, and you deserve more from me, okay?” Chewing the inside of his lip, he continues reading. “I know I don’t say this a lot -- but you’re really incredible, you know? You’ve done so much for us, so much for me, and I’m starting to worry that I’ll never be able to repay you for it. Even when I wasn’t sure whether to trust you or not, you were there for me. You believed in me. You told me I could do whatever I set my mind to, and I’ll never forget that. Not for as long as I live.”
“I know....leaving your Nohrian family was hard on you. I get that now. But Ryoma, Hinoka, Sakura, Azura and I will always be here for you. We’ll be your family, and I’ll be your little brother -- somebody you can rely on. Don’t hesitate to rely on me, sister. You’ve always been here for me, so I’ll do the same for you.”
“And I know I should definitely say this more too....but I love you, sister. I mean that.”
With a new found smile, he signs the letter with his name, pushing up and out of his chair to find her.
