Hey! Is there any way y’all could add all those films onto a list on Letterboxd? Please, this is the first time I have ever seen a resource like this and I’m blown away! I would appreciate it sooo much!

This is a great idea! The only thing that might supersede my love for the whumpapedia is my love for letterboxd. That being said, there are so many movies in the list that it will be quite the feat. If you, faithful follower, were interested in creating the official Whumpapedia movie whump list TM, we could officially sanction and reblog a post about it.

I wonder if it would be possible to make a common terms list and for the type of whump as there are multiple terms for the same thing. Ex: Shot, GSW, shot badly; hospital, hospital bed; hospitalized etc. understandably some things can’t change due to description, but I feel like it would be nice to have it somewhat cohesive. Because it’s a spreadsheet, it may be possible to use code and change most all at once? Also, what happened to the youtube channel?

Such an excellent idea, and one that might have suited us better to implement from the beginning but never the less worthy for discussion. There are almost 14,000 entries in the whumpapedia now and addressing the discrepancies between shot, gunshot, and gsw (and like terms) could be done through code, but do potentially risk messing up things. At the end of the day, my philosophy is, if it's clear what type of whump it is from the description, then it's all good. Will keep this in mind though!

As for the youtube channel, I do recall there being one but not much being done with it save some whumpy playlists that were made with it? So I guess nothing happened to or with the youtube channel?
