I wonder if it would be possible to make a common terms list and for the type of whump as there are multiple terms for the same thing. Ex: Shot, GSW, shot badly; hospital, hospital bed; hospitalized etc. understandably some things can’t change due to description, but I feel like it would be nice to have it somewhat cohesive. Because it’s a spreadsheet, it may be possible to use code and change most all at once? Also, what happened to the youtube channel?
Such an excellent idea, and one that might have suited us better to implement from the beginning but never the less worthy for discussion. There are almost 14,000 entries in the whumpapedia now and addressing the discrepancies between shot, gunshot, and gsw (and like terms) could be done through code, but do potentially risk messing up things. At the end of the day, my philosophy is, if it's clear what type of whump it is from the description, then it's all good. Will keep this in mind though!
As for the youtube channel, I do recall there being one but not much being done with it save some whumpy playlists that were made with it? So I guess nothing happened to or with the youtube channel?

I hope this doesn't sound mean, but are you allowed to submit like, extra/additional bits of whump for a character who already has a submission? I noticed some of my faves actually have a lot more whump in canon than what's already been submitted for them and want to add what's missing, is that possible at all?
Hi anon, not mean at all. Tbh just do another ask like you're doing here and specify what your edit is. Like "This TV show, this row, this character, needs to be updated to *insert new description.*" If you want added credit you can include a username otherwise we'll just update it.

hi, got into a new fandom and found two entries that could use updating: White Collar (series), the first entry (row 2106) says ep 8 when it's ep 9, and the second is two entries (row 2110 and 2111) that can be combined into one line (description wise). thanks!

Yep! Just fill out the form and it shoots out on our end, then we check on our end and add it to the main spreadsheet.
On the Whumpapedia did you know Tumblr is spelt wrong in the yellow top banner? There's no "e" in Tumblr.
