Kat takes a moment to lean against the wall, typing out the message quickly on her phone.
[Huh?]
[In general or like... today?]
[In general, I do what they tell me, fix things, collect samples, protect things, assemble things, and- uh- exterminate anomalies.]
Kat starts walking towards the exit of the tunnel and into the subway platform.
[Today, I'm just patrolling and installing cameras in hard-to-reach/currently unmonitored areas in Gotham. The people who are in charge of the monitors don't like blind spots, as you probably understand.]
[There's no-]
She pauses, looking at the camera.
[Oh, this is just the work uniform, promise, even if we're just sitting in like a truck or something, we look like this. There's no threat im after.] She taps her vest on the camera.
[Company policy, nothing more, promise. We just wear this in case something ambushes us; that's actually more common than any of us likes.]
Kat continues walking, heading for the exit of the subway. She seems unbothered by the looks she gets from the strangers around her.
[I'm gonna take 30 to get a sandwich, do you want to call?]
