After raising so many sim kids right after the Pets generation, I wish that there was a “training” traits system for toddlers-teens. Specifically, that positive and negative reinforcement of certain behaviours in kids could cause them to develop certain traits, just like with pets. 

Foster a child's artistic behaviour, and they will be come artistic children. Scold them for being messy or not taking out the trash, and they’ll become neurotic. I know there is a “encourage to learn skills” interaction, but I would love a trait development system. 

I assume that this sort of restructuring would be beyond the ability of mods, but it would be so cool!
