Ori leaned down when he saw the first frog, taking it gently into his hands. He had always loved animals when he was an angel, and his visits to Earth were always more centered on them than the actual humans.

"Hello, little one!"

And then he saw the second.

And the third.

And the fourth, fifth, sixth–

Soon, 100 frogs surrounded him, and he looked around in confusion. He wasn't... upset about the frogs, just incredibly confused as to where they had all come from.

"Whoever has placed all of these here– show yourself."

ONCE AGAIN I AM SO SORRY

Quite frankly working at the job I am at while also looking for a new, less soul-sucking job, has made it so all the days have blurred together, and I am exhausted by the time I get home.

I haven't the foggiest idea as to how long it has been since I responded to another rp except the one thread I have managed to keep going somehow, and I deeply apologise for that.

I do plan on responding to everything I am currently involved in! It just might take me some time as I remember how to be a person again and try to get less exhausted

Easter weekend I was on vacation, and that completely scrambled my brain, and THEN my work went to extended hours 6 days a week this week, so I have been fried coming home every day

BUT SUNDAY MARKS MY FIRST DAY OFF SINCE LAST SUNDAY MEANING ASKS WILL RESUME!!!!!!!!!!

to anyone with outstanding rps with me rn: AN ADDITIONAL I AM SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SORRY FOR KEEPING YOU WAITING I AM A SLOW RESPONDER AT BEST BUT THERE ARE SOME THAT HAVE ALMOST BEEN WAITING TWO WEEKS AND THAT WAS NOT MY INTENT

SO? WHERE HAVE I BEEN?

it is. my god. it is a long story. you can read my ramble below the cut if you would like but the short way of it is:

i dropped the ball on a LOT of rps.

like a lot. i am so sorry.

it is not a reflection on you, and it is not to say that i didn't enjoy our rp! trust me when i say i have thought about all of my not responded to rps every single day since i have last responded (and that is not an exaggeration in the slightest.)

i want to rp again! i miss ori as a character dearly, he is probably my favorite oc i have created in recent memory, and he has some fun stuff coming up in his plot that i really want to get to!

SO. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

you know who you are. if you would LIKE to continue with a specific rp that i dropped the ball on, please @ me in it! frankly, @ me if its been a week and you haven't heard from me! sometimes things get lost in my notifications and i get busy and my brain is so so scattered all the time!!!

if you would not like to continue with an old rp, that is also cool! we can start fresh, or if you have my discord, you can contact me to figure out what has happened since our characters last saw each other!

i started this account back during the slow season at my job.

i work at a pool store. in the northeast of the united states. needless to say, the winter months aren't exactly the busiest time of the year for us.

so, i would spend all of my 10-5 shift "working" on work that didn't exist, and playing on my computer instead.

i made this blog during that season, and was incredibly responsive because. i truly had NOTHING else going on at the time. i would pass the time at work rping instead of. doing anything at work because there wasn't anything.

well.

its summer now.

and for the past 2~ months, pool season has begun, and is now in full swing.

i am working 9:30-6:30 every day, and am running around with my thoughts so scrambled all day that i feel like the old your brain on drugs advert with the fried egg.

also my job has no ac. which adds to the fried egg analogy.

by the time i get home at 7? i am BEAT.

i get home, shower, and am done. thats it. working in the heat all day will do that to you.

so i haven't been responding to rps as much!

BUT.

i am hoping to get out of this job. i am HOPING to go back to school in the fall again. i am HOPING TO RP AGAIN!!!!!!!! doing the event that @/divine-intervention-be-upon-ye has been running has allowed me to rp ori again on this account, and i have realized how much i have missed it!!!

so.... i am hoping to be more responsive! but i am still working long hours, and sometimes by the end of the day i am just. shot.
