You can learn a lot about someone from the music they listen to. Hit shuffle on your ipod, phone, itunes, media player, etc. and write down the first 20 songs, then pass this on to 10 people. One rule: No skipping!

**Warning- my answers are really sort of long and ramble-y... Sorry.**
I stopped watching How I Met Your Mother around season 3 or 4. Then when I read that the ending of it was basically Moffat'ed, fans of the show have my condolences. I'll put in a cut in case there are people who don't want to be spoiled:
The mom dies, which is sad, and I'm guessing that the kids don't really know a whole lot about her since she died when they were younger. So instead of Ted telling a long wonderful story about her, he tells a long story about his life before her, centering around Robin (who is not their mother). He talks about their mother for a handful of episodes, and says, "oops, she died, does this mean I can date Robin now?" So instead of the story being for his children about the mother they won't fully know; Ted Fucking Moesby uses the opportunity to get his kids to like Robin as a new stepmom. Ted and the show Moffat'ed everyone by creating a huge narrative and in the final hour, dump the entire thing so it's meaningless. Personally, I feel bad for the kids to have Moesby, a self important asshat who told a story for him not them, as a father.
