POTENTIAL TRIGGER WARNING FOR SOME!
Id like to start right off the bat stating this MIGHT be a trigger warning to some.
I urge you to read with cuation if you have been Subjected to (and do not read further if you had a history of uh... for a lack of a better term... taken.
.So... an update on how my dnd session with Moggatorash is going; Grommsh came out to play and almost got another players character to embrace their primitive, darker side. He basically bidded his time and listening closely, all while observing what was going on around him. So...
Do not read further if you have a history of being forced to work as a child!
We fought a hag who was keeping children in her workshop, forced into child labor. Mogga was full of compassion and took this personal since he knew these kids were ultimately orphans.
A friend of mine's character had a traumatic history involving abuse as a child to which Grommsh uses to his advantage, being the cunning war lord he was in life.
To give a bit of context, Grommsh is THE God of Orcs on the Pantheon. Moggatorash was subjected to a kidnapping as a child and forced to become a vessel for the Orcish God. Since his days on the streets, Grommsh would bide his time, analyzing Moggatorash's decisions and morals and occasionally trying to influence the teen to a life of war and embracing his true orcish nature His father was Grom's son. Therefore, making him a direct descendant of the God.
This is why he was targeting by his (Grom)'s followers to essentially preserve the orcish warlord in hopes of bringing him back.
He was found by a minotaur who was in his village when he was to be beaten to death in the middle of his village. His parents died when he was young, specifically when he was forcibly taken from his home.
Trigger warning for abuse: Do not read onward if you have a history of such!
He was taken to Vilhelm's village to be adopted into his family and begun his path to learning the ways of a shaman to which he was sent on pilgrimages to different corners of the world, learning and helping those in need. He ultimately went back to his village to where he was welcomed as an honored guest. He eventually encountered the very guard who had beat him all those years ago.
Rather than give into revenge, he forgave him, which surprised the guard.
Years later, he met with some interesting individuals at the Witchlight Carnival, and his child-like wonder was awakened at this place. You see, he didn't have a proper childhood as most young orcs would.
A lurking darkness that resided within him began to stir once the party reached the fey wild. Grommsh had been gathering strength while laying low, and it wasn't until they were in his realm that he began to show himself and briefly take control of the young orc via brief possession.
Mogga is blinded in one eye due to one of the beatings he had received as a teenager on the streets, and his natural eye color is purple.
When Grommsh shows himself, his one good eye would glow and eventually, when he would shapeshift into a giant black wolf, this meant trouble; Grommsh had control of him.
