How old are you? Hometown?
I am 20 and from Providence, RI.
How would you define your personal style?
My personal style honestly depends on my mood. I can go casual and dress it up or I can go all out and look as professional as can be. I would say I really do love good pair of jeans with a fierce pair of pumps or wedges.
Do you follow fashion trends or do you create your own styles?
I would say that I reference what I wear to the fashion trends out today. I don't exactly copy them, but I do take a fashion trends and mix it up.., take something away, or add something new to make it my own.
Are there any colors that you won't wear, and if so why?
I love all colors! And recently it’s been really hot to mix the bold ones together... Like the reds with the pinks and the yellows with the greens. Actually now that I say that, I don’t have anything in my closet that is yellow. Not that nothing good can’t come from yellow, it's just I never found anything decent in that color.
Were you always into fashion or did you fashion sense develop over time?
Around when I was 13... Possibly even around age 11 I had my mom buy me a sketch book and in it I would draw little things like tops, bottoms, and outerwear and even some purses and shoes lol, but now I'm just into clothing.. No accessories.
How do your daily activities impact what you wear?
When you wake up it’s not just another day for you to just throw anything on, you have to make some kind of statement, even if it's down to just the shirt that’s amazing or even just the shoes. When you walk outside your door in the morning you have to think... "Who am I going to run into today?" you never know, you can possibly run into the president lol
Are there any designers that you like to wear?
I don't really wear designer clothes. You don't have to have a bunch of labels in your closet to look at your best. I know people who shop at thrift stores and you would never know it. It’s like the saying goes "fashion fades, but style is eternal" you have to have style, to know how to put pieces together to make that outfit look amazing!
Who are your favorite designers?
My favorite designers include Givenchy, Alexander McQueen, and I loved Jil Sander's spring 2012 collection.
Five must-have items:
Fashion wise or not these are my 5 must haves! Your cell phone, wallet, lip gloss, the perfect purse to carry all of this in lol, and the right attitude. But then again I can't live with just 5 things.. I need my wardrobe!
Do you look for critique or are you confident in your style choices?
Honestly, it all depends on who this critique is coming from and if they sound knowledgeable enough to be critiquing me. One thing I will say is I love critiques from my fashion professors because they obviously know what they’re talking about and if there’s any way to improve my skills I'm all for it.
Do you participate in fashion around your area?
Life is your runway; it’s great to impress yourself. Even if there isn’t any fashion around you.
What is your greatest fashion pet peeve?
At the moment.. I don’t really have one.
What is currently your favorite trend?
For something simple I do love the cropped jeans. I have a pair of red ones myself. Pair that with a high-low top and a great pair of wedges and you got yourself an outfit! As for the more formal, I love, love, love, the high/low cut dresses as well as any deep cut "v neckline" to the front or back of any dress. And as the slits in the dresses are coming back those stand out to me as well.
What's your blog inspiration?
I've never been the one to majorly blog, but the "fashion sets" interest me a lot, digitally showcasing an outfit makes it much more easier to explain. With fashion blogging it also shows employers your interest. Just think, now days when you’re at an interview or anything of the sort one of the questions they ask you is if you have a blog.
What's something you need, right now??
Fabric! I’m in the mode to make my own things right now! I'm taking a trend and making it my own.
How has your experience been so far being one of the contributors to this blog?
Exciting! It’s always fun to see others ideas and what they have to bring to the table.
What other features do you think this blog should consider adding?
Daily or weekly advice on how to survive in the fashion world, because we all know it can get a little catty.
Who is you style icon?
I love love love! Olivia Palermo's fashion sense! Now that’s someone who always puts their own twist on fashion trends.

Be true to yourself, never let discouraging words turn you away from what you love. & if you truly love what you’re doing no one should be able to take that away from you.
