After a long while of this blog being inactive... I’m back! 

Because the submitting AUs thing didn’t quite work, I’m going to be renovating this blog to host my general Miracle on Ice content. With new tags, new AUs, new fics and headcanons, new ships, and perhaps even original characters! (I have way too many of those...) 

Of course, asks and submissions of your AUs and fics are still always welcome! 

We’re going full self-indulgence mode now, so expect me to be very biased. On the wrong side. :D For more of my Soviet hockey shenanigans, go check out valeri-lebedev-611. That’s where I simp for Vasiliev (among others) on main.

would anyone join something like this? I’m thinking about setting it up on Discord.

it would be an interactive fanfic about the 1979-1980 season of world hockey (mostly the American and Soviet teams though we can also include others if you’d like).

each person makes an original character or two who has a connection to the team of your choice. yes your OCs can absolutely have love interests or just make friends or enemies with the real players. and then, we create a storyline!

i’ll probably use my original characters, hehehe

i swear, my ideas keep getting more random... but i can’t help myself 

anyways, miracle on ice au in which the americans are sailors and the soviets are merfolk! while my oc, yuna, is a mermaid and siren who lives and travels with the soviets, this is her song! 

the americans are sailing by the coastline of what would be russia (i still have to decide exactly where) when they encounter the merfolk, who they’re very surprised to see because they had no idea merfolk were real. the americans decide to not interact with these merfolk so they don’t provoke them... until they hear (who they don’t know is) yuna sing her song. they are all immediately drawn to her voice... but will they manage to resist her call? bonus points if the soviet boys start to sing with her too!
