K:  Do you have a guilty pleasures in fic (reading or writing)? 

i WILL accept bad porn every once in a while if i just really need a hit from a certain pairing and their tag is slow/dead. but i have standards. one “the brunette” and i’m out

as for writing: do i employ the same cheap trick of locating an emotion in the body of my protagonist and making it vibrate/hum/sting/… in every single thing i write? i do, and you will pry this device from my cold dead hands

N: Any fic ideas brewing that you’d care to share?

currently writing a fic where richie tozier gets a visit from the queer eye guys, which got outrageously out of hand. i’m aiming to finish it within the next 6 months and under 40K, which… we’ll see about that.

other than that, i have this idea about steve rogers being dragged into propaganda movies right after his transformation, and being a terrible actor, and missing bucky a lot, and being super in the closet, only to meet an OC actor who is cast to play his sidekick, who reminds him of bucky a lot and who is super out and proud and yes, this will be a stucky fic without any bucky screentime, and it will make you cry

also also, i’ve said this before and i will say it again: if anyone has any jaskier/geralt in-universe fake dating fic at hand… i’m to tired to write it but i NEED IT in my life

T: Any fanfic tropes you can’t stand?

let’s just say you really really REALLY gotta sell that modern/high school/coffee shop AU for me to even try to get into that (expect les mis, for which i will ONLY read AUs). as for actual tropes, let’s be real, if i found them anything but endlessly entertaining, i’d read regular novels

X: How would you categorize your fanfic reading?  Are you a voracious reader?  Do you carefully pick and choose?  Something in between?

first off: i definitely spend less time reading fic than i spend writing it. but if i wanna dive into a new pairing, i usually look at the highest kudos ranking over on AO3, and then exit anything that doesn’t win me over prose-wise within, like, the first 500-1000 words, depending on my level of desperation. the best fic i’ve read came through recommendations, though. every once in a while i will sit down and finish a 100K monster if the writing/premise is REALLY good, but usually i stick to short-ish to medium-length stuff. also i will read and love anything @moirarty decides to share, thanks for asking, bro <3

you’re be strong again pretty quick. each time i take a huge running break it takes me less time to get back to my before-high. body doesn’t forget! hang in there, get your knee fixed now before you bust something real bad!

thanks, needed to hear that! I know it’s the reasonable thing to do, but it feels just so stupid to say to your therapist ”yeah I went to intense training once a week for 2 hours” and then almost die after like 5 minutes of warm-up Can’t wait to be well enough to train again! Also I think the physio is already helping a little and that gives hope for the future
