Redesigned Moiris and Lulu! Moiris (left) is the god of clowns, the sun, and optimistim towards the future, and Lulu is the god of jesters, the night/moons and nostalgia.
Two OCs for my original world, who’s the same as Calnis, Cupsilon and the Fruitbugs (except the latter are virtual); Clown god Moiris and Jester god Lulu! They’re boyfriends u3u
Moiris is the god of clowns and optimism; he and those who follow his ideology tend to have a positive look on their future. He loves to daydream about all the fun possibilities his future holds.
Lulu is the god of jesters and of nostalgia. He and his followers have to reminisce their past a lot, and look at both good and bad moments in a fond way, such as for example, a day spent being sick, but wrapped under a warm blanket. He tends to sleep a lot, because he loves being able to dream.
Can you tell us more about your clown and jester gods??? They're so cool looking!!! 💯👌😩
Sure thing 👀!! I always love to talk about my characters; and i’m really happy to hear that you want to know more about those two and think they’re cool 💖🙈!!
Moiris:
• While Moiris’ ‘looking forward’ nature tends to be in a positive manner, it, of course, happens that events make certain aspirations harder to reach, or even not possible anymore. Whenever this happens, he gets upset for a bit; thankfully, Lulu will be here to reassure him in those cases.
• the ‘hats’ around his head are actually antennae! They detect how much positive possibilities an individual can have. Similarly, his red nose is natural.
• While he’s the god of clowns, Moiris doesn’t actually approve of mean clowns- for him, clowns should be about making others a little happier. If he ever catches a mean clown, he’ll give them a good talking-to. (Good thing that since he’s in Futh, my original world, he can’t ever see my fan characters..)
Lulu:
• Lulu can take other ‘appearances’- they’re based on different kinds of nostalgia; nostalgia of a past long gone, and nostalgia of a future that could have been. I’ll definitely draw them someday!
• His face may look like a mask, but it IS his face. And his head may look like he’s wearing a jester hat, but the features are actually feelers; they can detect how nostalgic a person is.
• Lulu is also the god of jesters; but unlike Moiris, he’s alright with letting jesters acting the way they want, as long as their pranks aren’t overly mean. Lulu wishes he could be a lil mischievous, but as a god, he has responsibilities and can’t exactly act this way.
Both of them:
• the two of them can produce ‘bubbles’ that contain daydreams. They both reside on an old, and hidden temple dedicated to them, who looks like an astronomical observatory. They have both their individual rooms in it, and they both are filled with daydreams bubbles. Their favorites tend to be lower to the ground, while others tend to be around the ceiling. Lulu’s daydreams are about nostalgia- it can be his own, or his followers’. Moiris’ daydreams are about possibilities the future can hold, and like Lulu, it can be his own future or his followers’. In both cases, the bubbles can pop sometimes- if the nostalgia is forgotten, or if the possibility of a certain future is no longer possible. If either god wishes to experience a certain thing a bubble contain, all they have to do is pick up the bubble, and ‘sleep’ while having it in their hands.
• It is possible for them to fuse for a short time- it’s an eclipse form, who’s about enjoying the present time and moment; by acknowledging both the past events and the future. I’ll draw this too sometime!
• In their world, Futh, they’re deities that are neither overly popular, or forgotten. Lots of people know about them, and lots don’t as well. That’s mostly because their followers aren’t often talking about them; Lulu and Moiris’ religion is more about being comforted by one’s own memories or future possibilities, so it tends to be somewhat of a personal subject to them. Talking about Lulu and Moiris would be like talking about your favorite plushie doll; some are willing to talk about it, some aren’t.
If i have more info, i’ll either tell in drawings of them, or i’ll reblog this post!
