It’s a pit of vipers, darling. The politics are endless, even the best houses are slightly seedy, the crime is a bit much, and it’s all I know, so I might as well stay and improve it however I can. It was difficult in my youth but I’ve adapted to Goodneighbor. I’ve manage to thrive here. Despite everything, I enjoy it.
Besides, where would I even go, hm? I’m a ghoul. By all means, if you find a nice, lovely, safe place with a good nightlife that accepts ghouls wholeheartedly, you have my ear, but I don’t think you will.
