Molly Alexis Taylor was born into money. Her father was an architect and her mother was a psychiatrist. To be honest, her childhood was fairly...normal. Of course, she got into trouble, but never for anything illegal; at first. At the tender age of 13; though, her entire life took a turn for the worst. Molly’s petty crimes soon would turn into stealing anything and everything she could get her hands on in order to get a few extra dollars in her pocket for the drugs that had taken over her life. Her parents were too busy to catch her addiction and by the time they saw their daughter’s deteriorating state; it was too late to intervene without a professional. Being only 13; Molly had no choice in whether or not she was going to rehab, she /had/ to go. Little did her parents know, this wouldn’t help her. At all. Once out of the facility, Molly remained clean for awhile. That was when she met Josh and the pair hit it off. His rebellious side was attractive to Molly and those dark eyes.. Who could resist? Molly certainly couldn’t and was soon hooked on the drugs that once consumed her life again.
At 14; Molly’s father had a massive heart attack and passed away. This caused Molly to get deeper into the drug scene; she also began self harming at this time. Dealing with physical pain was so much easier than the emotional broken-ness she felt inside. She could control the pain when she cut, so it became her coping mechanism. It was also around this time that she began dating Josh which infuriated her mother. The town bad boy? With her babygirl? Hell no. So Molly’s mother changed all the locks to the house and disowned her own child. Molly lived on the streets; crashing on couches when she could and was soon approached by a pimp. Prostitution was easy money and keeping it a secret wasn’t hard; the only person she hated keeping it from was Josh. She was making enough to feed her newest addiction, heroin.
While chaotic, things in her life had seemed to level out slightly after her father’s death and her mother’s abandonment...that was until Josh killed himself. Molly was devastated. Unsure how to deal with it, she checked into rehab and moved from that god forsaken town. She had even fallen in love. But as the 10 year anniversary of Josh’s death got closer; Molly’s urge to use got stronger and she was too weak to fight it. The betrayal of her husband’s trust, over and over, soon led to a divorce and sent Molly crawling back to the town she left to chase the ghost of the man she couldn’t let go of. Now back in Portland, Molly strips in order to keep a roof over her head as well as drugs in her veins. Her days of prostitution are all but behind her, she just hasn’t been in town long enough to build her clientele back up; her job as a stripper should make that task an easy one though.
