You enter a large chamber, six walls, not counting the one you came in, adorned with edifices that seem to be shrines, each with a candle burning a colored flame.
The first is adorned with bloodied knives, wormy skulls and broken parasols. The single red candle burns a black-hearted flame.
The second is crawling with insects and crustaceans, living and dead, with puss seeping from every crevice. The twin red candles burn a sickly green flame.
The third is feathered and bannered with coats of arms, weaponry and crimson cracked snail shells. The three red candles burn a valiant pink flame.
The fourth is swathed in sorrowful masks and pinned butterflies, bound in salt-wet purple-teal ribbon. The four red candles burn a mournful purple flame.
The fifth is plush and long horned, grey hair glinting silver with earwigs amid slugs sleeping decayed. The five red candles burn a tired white flame.
The sixth is blacklight eyes and teeth, red strings and dice ensnare a centipede eating a moth forever. The six red candles burn a fateful cyan flame.
