Your post got me thinking about how different the shipping is in the BH6 fandom now vs when the movie first came out. Obviously there were fewer characters to work with so people were shipping things like Krei x Abigail and Cass x Callaghan, no one seems to anymore, plus Tadashi and Gogo was a popular ship just like him and HL. Though the crossover ships with Hiro still seem to be popular even with him having the 3 potnetial love interests in the show. Not saying any of this is good or bad, i just thought it was interesting
People really shipped Abigail and Krei? Isn't Abigail, like, much younger than him?
Although I guess you can't really tell from this picture, and I don't think an age was never given in the movie.
Though if my tin-foil theory about her comic counterpart is true, we'll go with 28 and leave it at that.
Tadashi/anyone seems to still be a popular pairing even to this day because there's so much that we still don't know about him (and to be honest won't know about him). Heck, I'm sure there were Tadashi/Abigail people out there as well.
There's also Abigail/Go Go stuff, for some reason.

But yeah, it's very interesting that people who don't interact at all get their fair share of shipping attention (like the ones you said about Cass and Callaghan, who AFAIK don't meet at all in the movie). I guess that's the fun of having characters that don't get the same spotlight as the main ones. It'd be like people shipping Momakase and Sirque.

I'm...not sure what you mean by crossover ships. I'm guessing it's Hiro and someone from a different movie entirely, and if that's it, that's totally true. The BH6 fanbase is still active out there in general, and the shipping is still prevalent as well.
And nowadays you have a plethora of characters to choose from, from Sirque to Obake to Momakase to Megan to anyone in between.
Just leave Karmi for Hiro. That's all I care about. XD
