I'm all about awareness and transparency about my kids and their mental health. So here goes: Explain please someone how a 9 year old with NO MONEY comes back with 2 drinks, and ice cream using 51 cents she found in her bookbag?? She didn't steal it she claims. She refuses to ask me for money even though I tell her she has too. She refuses to tell me anything other than it's her money. Last time it was "her" money the truth was it was money she found in her brothers room and such that she knew was his. Which prompted a talk about taking what did not belong to you. How it hurts other peoples feelings and things like that. She had spent both of her brothers money on a plant she wanted. This is not the first time we had this problem where she goes to the store with money that she won't ask for. Help how do I correct this?
