Instagram vs reality. There has been so much that I’ve kept off line and worked to perfectly curate the aesthetic I want to portray. It’s not wrong or right but there’s certainly more going on in the background. Behind the smiles of littles and fun of life, there is still so much heavy. Im sure you guys notice, thing are different from before the pandemic. I am different from before the pandemic. Online stuff has overwhelmed the off-line life and visa-versa. This face was my entire inspiration for staying up until 2 AM last night. The other face in the background too but the Link costume was 100% made by me, by hand. The measuring, the sewing, the removing of stitches and lots of time went into making it. My boy was so happy. The Charizard costume was secondhand but about three or four sizes too large. I had to adjust it completely cut it in half so he’ll be able to go potty, I cut the wings off I got rid of the Velcro, I threw some suspenders Underneath and adjusted a too small hat. Both boys were so happy. Finally a charcuterie board! This was just an afterschool snack. But it gave me some time to take care of other things before I had to worry about dinner. Every day I bring more plants to my shelf in the upstairs bathroom. It’s slowly coming along. I’ll likely need to take the shelf apart and put it together the right way to add braces and hold up all the plants I have but that’s for another day. Slow and steady.
