NaBloPoWriMo 2014 Day 23 Lets get granular!

Okay, fallen off a bit lately but not gonna dwell on that. This Themeing tutorial I'm taking is kind of blowing my mind. I'm trying to decide if the views I've set up for Find Tomorrow Today are the best. Now I'm seeing that you don't necessarily have to use views to change views and what I suspected all along is that there is a way to make a default view and then override the default view for specific views. You can drill way down into it and do custom php as well. Which just makes me feel like the php class that I took at PCC was totally inadequate and I plan to take the BAM version as soon as I'm done theming. 

I'm super anxious, though, to get back to rebuilding Find Tomorrow Today because this is the time of year for lots of stuff to post and the new databased approach that Drupal is allowing me to use is SO MUCH EASIER.

You are so, so painful. This reminds me of translating roman agrarian records.

" Accessing String Offsets Individual characters in a string can be accessed using the $str{offset} notation. You can use it to both read and write string offsets. When reading characters, this notation should be used only to access valid indices. When modifying characters, you may access offsets that don’t yet exist. PHP automatically sets that offset to the said character, and if this results in a gap between the ending of the original string and the offset of the new character, the gap filled with space characters (' ')."
