The big day was September 3 2016 - I went through Radical mastectomy of the right breast. But this was after a series of consultations, tests and even second and third opinions. Diagnosis was Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Stage 2B, ER and PR Negative, HER2 Positive This made me retreat for sometime. I wasn't talking to anybody else but Dear Hubby. (DH) It took me almost a month to finally open up with my parents and the rest of the family. It was then that I started to learn to accept things, and fully realize that having a brigade of friends, brothers and sisters praying for me helps. LESSON: YOU ARE NEVER ALONE! Families and friends are there for a reason! It is unjust not to trust that they truly cares for us. They are our best allies. Even if we have not meet or hangout with some of them for sometime... they are never too far when we need them. I am and forever will be grateful that I have an unlimited supply of support from friends and families near and far. Every message encourages me to move forward. #MomOnMax #BreastCancer #Cancer #FriendsAndFamily #Friends #LifeAfterCancerSeries #LivingLifeToTheMax #Mastectomy #InvasiveDuctalCarcinoma #Stage2 https://www.instagram.com/p/BoYoMn4FUKbpNTxKi-oAa2Y1apaQ3c2XgyKPrY0/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1km2adycdvsru
