it’s chaos over at mine. you know what mum’s like, and sirius isn’t exactly the calmest person ever, so hopefully you’re getting more of a break at yours. it’s weird though, not having you here. i’m so used to you just being there, hearing your voice and your laugh. i’ve found myself scouring the rooms to catch your eye before remembering you’re not here. it sounds ridiculous, but it’s true.

i’ve realised mae, that i’m in love with you. like, hopelessly, stupidly, deeply in love with you. i know how intense i sound (moony insists im a hopeless romantic), but christmas is supposed to be a time of love so, why not?

i thought i’d finally catch a break from the stupid bloody butterflies i feel whenever you’re near me, but even the thought of you has just the same effect.

turns out, i can't ignore that i’m mad about you.
