@snxwbird squished the penguin!
Monet was pretty much the best roommate she could have asked for. She was responsible and well organized, impeccable with the house chores and someone she honestly enjoyed spending time with. She also happened to be absolutely gorgeous, which was quite distracting.
She was supposed to be reviewing her pharmacology notes, but she could see her roommate cleaning up the kitchen from where she sat. And it was striking, seeing someone so otherworldly beautiful doing something so mundane. Her mind refused to focus on the equations, opting instead to keep revisiting the song she’d been writing on and off for the past few days.
