If I had a nickel for every AU I've made where Metal Sonic and another character were mutually monster fuckers to each other I'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't much but it says alot about me that it happened twice.

(Author’s note: I notice I ramble a lot in these kind of posts so I made sure to bold the important stuff so I can still ramble but if you don’t wanna read the whole thing you can notice the important stuff)

I’ve been working on a scientist oc, and I feel like it’s time to introduce you to..

Dr. Reyes! Her first name is Veronica

Dr.Reyes work in kaiju linguistics. So basically ya know how we as humans figured out that elephants and dolphins have their own language and stuff. She works in that field of science just with kaiju. So she just tries to figure out what the roars mean.

Reyes works with Queen muto. I feel like the mutos had a hand in opening this field with femuto and hokmuto holding conversations throughout the movie. So all she does it listen into Barb’s audio files, cross references with animals and their behaviors, sees what body language barb is doing in the footage and tries to decipher what it means.

She works at a desk instead of doing field work. I think she’s seen Queen muto in person like, 3 times, and that was whenever she passed the main deck. You’d be surprised how much of her work is just her writing reports back to the higher ups, considering she’s just one cog in her branch of the corporation.

Personality wise, I think she blurts out whatever comes to her mind. Reyes may have eyelashes and such but all the makeup she’s wears is chapstick and mascara cause she’s trying to seem professional by dressing decent but also is lazy. She isn’t really great at conversation due to her focusing on work over that kind of stuff. Reyes has awful acne and eye bags due to her own personal neglect. (Example of her trying to socialize at a company party)

Another fun fact is the design is just a clean up of a gijnka for an oc I abandoned. So all I didn’t was draw over this cause I’m a lazy BITCH

@mimusbirds offered some really solid input on drawing Guardians post D2. so this is the result of it! 

I took and kept some elements from her normal D1 kit, mostly TTK Iron Banner gear and the Sealed ahamkara grasps. so the chest plate, “necklace”, claws and light wraps.

now she’s got less armor, built for speed and quick strikes, like how i play the game. and has some flashy bits but less than she used to. just some things for her sake.
