This could be a clue about Mona’s thinking when she was making her plan to fake her own death. If you remember from previous seasons when the girls find out she was the original A she was so upset because she didn’t get to find out who redcoat was, she was obsessed with finding them out because she wanted to know everything and she was in awe of how they were getting away with it all and looked up to them as almost an idol (her actions and her being crushed that she didn’t find them says this).
It may be the Mona still felt infactuated with “A” or she believes A is someone that she loves or someone she used to be close to. It sounds like she was preparing to leave everything behind her because he “endgame” is to find out everything to either make it right for the girls and everyone involved and be the brains behind solving it all or just to finally know and be with the Big A.
I believe that Mona had planned to fake her own death of course, Mona was afraid of A so she put up cameras around her house to film the attack (the planned attack so that they would have incriminating evidence against Allison) but she also set up a Camera in her doll’s eye (the one on the right hand side of the room on top of her dresser) just in case A made an appearance or double crossed her and I think that is what we will see in the finale (along with A in person too). She probably has more clues than just the anagram in the mirror (which supposedly says either Rachel S. Dilaurentis or Charles Dilaurentis).
I definitely believe their were two people in her house that day and only one of them was supposed to be there to carry out her plan. PS I’m super excited I was one of the ones that guessed that she was collecting her own blood that’s why she was fainting and had band aids on her arms to fake her own death! :)
One had long curly hair (the one on the stairs) which did look like allison I have to say that was my first reaction (or maybe CeCe but it seemed like Ali) and the one that enters her room and surprised her the hair looked almost like a wig and was straighter and choppy and more uneven on the ends. I think the video we see of her downstairs was the fake enactment, it seems to overdramatic to be real but could be.
I want to say that Mona is alive, I have a feeling that she is and is just waiting for the right moment to come back in and save the day but I’m not sure how she would be able to keep her eyes open like that and be so still in the trunk for so long, but she could have been given some kind of drugs and taken away or it could have been a life like doll face maybe created by the guy who did the molds of Emily, Allison and Melissa’s faces? You never know! What do you guys think?
PS Andrew is really creepy and way to angry about Mona, it almost made me think he had something to do with the killing Mona part (he is obsessed with the girls and wanted to beat Mona at everything) so maybe he wanted to win there affections by getting her out of the way? Just an idea! He might be helping A!!
