Just finished cleaning up this girl and gluing yarn wefts to her head.

I didn’t feel bad at all for customizing her since I found her with no head fur and a foot chewed off! I like her a lot :)

Was hard to decide a hair color, I kept waffling between the more aqua sections of yarn or the greener sections. Eventually went with the royal blue in front because it went so well with her neon orange blush. Wish I could capture it better in photos! It is scuffed a bit (not as bad as her nose) but I dunno how I could ever color match to repair it.

Her head is stuffed tightly with polyfill and her neck piece is a Gatorade cap cut and used like a bread tag (thanks yet again @dolldirt). So the polyfill allowed me to shove the bottle cap UP into place, but fluffs back enough to push it back DOWN and hold the head up off her neck.

Patched up her nose by painting in a sort of cell shaded area on the bottom instead of trying to overpaint the whole thing.

Her entire head has a sort of glowy quality to it. Impossible to match a hard plastic body, though I’m sure there are some out there much closer than this Endless Hair Kingdom Barbie. I’m actually not too bothered by this mismatch for some reason. I’d like to at least airbrush her upper torso and hands to match though, someday!

I am going to try to find some seriously stonewashed denim to make her some 80’s jeans and a white cable knit type sweater. She is going to fit right in with that crowd.
