As a missing-nin, Kaito had few choices when it came to traveling. It was important that he never overstayed his welcome at a particular town or village, because it made him vulnerable to encountering Kirigakure’s hunter-nins or other bounty hunters. So he often found himself traveling between village to village, completing mercenary work, bounty missions and the rare odd job. It could be a lonely life but Kaito felt it was justified for his past’s sins. He still had not embraced his life as a missing-nin or a ‘criminal’ because in his eyes, he was just a wanderer. And that was all.
There was an odd ‘tea-house’ nearby that looked worn and torn from the outside but Kaito had learnt that it was a front for a criminal house. It acted as a hotspot for getting information that was useful to missing-nins, mercenaries and bounty hunters. It was also a favourite for criminals to hang out and drink ‘tea’ – unsurprisingly, it definitely was not tea as Kaito could smell the alcohol from outside.
He started to push the shabby, creaky door open when it collided with something solid and strong. Kaito quickly stopped the movement and bowed his head slightly in apology, “My apologies, I did not check if there was anyone behind the door,” He offered his apology simply and hoped it would be enough; he was not in the mind-set for a useless brawl.

Most admirable quality: “…Does he have any..?”
Most attractive physical feature: “Meh, I don’t mind tha’ stitches..~”
Most annoying habit: “His fuckin’ money obsession..”
Something they would like to do with them: “Maybe something normal like grabbing a damn drink or whatever..”
@moneyforkakuzu
*kinda owes Kakuzu three dollars and seven cents and is avoiding him*
“So you say you’re under a curse? So what? So’s the whole damn world.”
@moneyforkakuzu
Well, one couldn’t argue with that logic. However Minato would love to point out that some curses took on more nefarious, more physical, and more literal forms but he kept his mouth shut.
“Heh. Can’t agree more.”
He wondered if Kakuzu saw his own immortality as some form of curse.
