Happy #FeatureFriday Juanito! Juanito and his twin brother Lucas were born to parents Christina and Josh on May 22, 2008, making them the only twin mongoose lemurs born at LCF to date. Juanito is lucky enough to have been a forest lemur his whole life. He currently lives with his aunt Clarissa in a forest habitat that also includes 9 ring-tailed lemurs and 4 red ruffed lemurs. #lemur #mongooselemur #juanito #cute #animal #endangered #conservation #lcf

Lucas is this week's #ThrowbackThursday! Lucas was born here at LCF in 2008 along with his twin brother Juanito. Lucas is currently enjoying the free ranger life with his partner Luisa in one of our forest enclosures. He can often be found hanging out in the shade enjoying a nice browse snack when he is not trying to stay out of the way of the nine ring-tailed lemurs and three red ruffed lemurs that also share his forest home. #lemur #mongooselemur #lucas #cute #animal #endangered #conservation #lcf #handsome #twin
