I have Windows 8.1 soon to be W10 and ts1 to ts4 play and look fine. I had to adjust a few settings for ts2 but after that it wasn't a problem.
OH MAN TS1 I MISS IT SO MUCH SOME DAYS! The nostalgia really gets to me, like I still remember how i got Hot Date so late and it was so REVOLUTIONARY TO MY GAME and Superstar and building my own lodges with vacation oh MAN OH MAN one day I wanna grab those cos idk where all my own copies went and that one bish friend of mine never gave back my copy of Pets >:\
bUT ALSO YEAH I THINK I’M GONNA GO FOR THAT W10 WHEN IT COMES OUT cos i already don’t like windows 8 so like, why not just go ahead and bump up when it comes out lmao.

I have windows 8.1 and I've been running the Sims 2 UC perfectly! There were a few problems at first, but they were all easily fixed and were a UC problem rather than windows 8.
Oh man that's actually such a relief to know, too! Like my priorities are DEF TS4 and TS2 and I just know I'm gonna wind up playing them on this laptop, even if I do a lite version compared to what i do on the desktop, haha. *o*
Thank you guys I appreciate it so much! I was really awfully nervous about the prospect that TS2 might be a hard install or something but this is such a relief. Now if only my externals would finish transferring :|
