Let Go of What’s No Longer Serving You, Quickly
HOW I DEFINE LETTING GO - To let go is to accept what is occurring right now. It’s to flow with life’s changes, instead of meeting them with resistance.
The quicker I let go of something, the quicker it is replaced with something better. EVERY TIME. The only time it doesn’t feel like that is when I haven’t really let go.
I remember being a young girl in grade school, playing outside with my school mates by the monkey bars. As we would line up, one behind the other, waiting our turn to cross the monkey bars, I’d find myself feeling excited and anxious to go next. Once my turn would come, I’d have a moment where doubts would creep in and I’d feel scared to go across the monkey bars.
“What if I can’t reach the next bar and I fall?”
I had once seen my friend fall from the monkey bars and break her arm so I’d like to think my precautions were valid.
Nonetheless, I would always be met with the same lesson: Let go and move forward, one step at a time.
Undoubtedly, I would make it from one end of the monkey bars to the next.
This is how manifesting goes. No matter what it is that you are looking to create in your life, you will find yourself needing to let go of something or someone.
Let go and move forward, one step at a time.
As daunting as it seems, you must loosen your grip and let go of what is no longer serving you. That is the only way you’ll be able to look forward and take the next step.
It’s no longer serving you if you feel drained by holding on to it. It’s no longer serving you if you’ve done all you can to change it and it seems like your stuck or at a dead end. It’s no longer serving you if the only relief felt is when letting go.
Let go and move forward, one step at a time.
Do you want to stay in a place where all your dreams stay as dreams? I don’t. Do you find yourself feeling stuck? Let go, Surrender.
Well maybe it’s because you’re trying to hold on to something that’s just not working. I know you feel it. I know you feel the need to let go, to stop resisting. It’s just scary, right?
Perhaps you feel like by holding on, you’ll stop yourself from falling off the monkey bars and breaking your arm.
What if by completely letting go, you’ll be armed with so many ideas, opportunities and steps to take, that’ll move you exactly into the direction you wish to go.
Trust that everything is truly working in your favor. Have faith. Trust yourself and trust Source/God/Universe/Your Higher Self.
I guarantee you will not be disappointed and life will become that much sweeter.
I'm made of memories and madness...
