Ava was regretting every moment that had lead to this decision, she was currently attending a party in the honor of a some judge. Everything had been going fine until they had shown up, Mack and Cade, the two men she was very much having a relationship with at the same time. She hadn’t counted on the both of them being here, they hadn’t mentioned anything about attending this party and if she had known both of them were going to show up, she would have never attended in the first place. Taking another drink from a passing waiter, Ava prayed that the two wouldn’t spot her amongst the crowd and that she would be able to make a clean escape.

“Hey, Boo, you’re going to be needing help in the future, right?” Emile questioned, pulling some books together that she was due to purchase. “I mean, I don’t mean to brag or anything , but I did work at a bookstore before I moved here. I’m more than qualified. Besides, I can find everything in here pretty quickly...” She finished, dark eyes looking around the shop. It was cleaner than the old dark, damp shop she had worked at previously. It felt like home, and actually knowing Boo was the owner made her feel better about it.

She turned back to the owner, the corner of her lips pulling up into a smile. “I promise I won’t let you down. I mean, if you’d like me to work for you.”

Besides, she needed to get away from her apartment and tormenting her neighbor, but she wouldn’t mention that to her friend.

Deadly in love || Effie & Eric

Heads turned as Effie strutted through the crowd at the party with only high society guests. It was where she belonged and she made a show out of the confidence she felt. Her high heels were clicking on the marble floor, her designer dress clung to her body and enhanced her features. Her hair was freshly died in a light rose tone and she held the glass of champagne like an accessory.

She had made her name during her ten years as one of the world’s most well-known models. Her job had given her liberty from her parent’s clutches and had provided her with the money to study what she truely had always been interested in: architecture. Now four years after quitting modeling and working for one of the most renowned architecture firms of New York, she was known for the business just as well as her past. 

The man, Eric Falkner - it was important to know the names to anybody influential - had caught her eye rather soon. Until then, Effie had only heard stories about him and she couldn’t say they weren’t true. There was something to his aura that was very much drawing her to him. But Effie knew how to play. She kept it at glances, seductive gestures when he looked her way and almost arrogant ignorance by not walking over to him. It was a game and she loved it. 

The evening went on and to her disappointment, Eric was gone after Effie had taken a minute to refresh her makeup. With a hint of sadness in her heart, she decided on calling it a night and walked straight to the back entrance to avoid any paparazzi at the main door. She was pulling her coat around her body to keep the cool at bay, when her eyes caught a couple just a bit down the hallway. 

“Oh my, I do apologize. I didn’t mean to disturb you,” she gasped in an apologethic tone, not completely able to see what exactly was going on.

Pulling her coat closed to hide the blood stains on her dress, Bonnie rested her throbbing head on the coolness of the bus window and looked out to the night streets they passed. Ignoring the curious eyes that she could feel staring in her direction, she took the time to think about the events that had transpired and how it came to be that she was now in need of a place to stay.

Knowing earlier that morning upon waking that her day wasn’t going to be the best, Bonnie wasn’t surprised when she found herself in a heated argument with her (now ex) boyfriend. However, what did catch her off guard was how it started. One little congratulatory text. That’s all it took.

After their many conversations of possibly starting a family, it was clear that children was the last thing he desired.  Anytime she mentioned them she could instantly feel his hatred for them.  How anyone could feel such a way towards anything so precious so didn’t know but knew it was better if she didn’t mention them again. So she didn’t. Or at least tried not to.

When she found out she was pregnant, Bonnie was both nervous and excited. Excited to experience the joy of motherhood while nervous revealing it.  And she had every right to be.  Never had she seen anyone so angry over such news. Hearing his words nearly made her hate herself for laying with him in the first place. Wanting him to shut up and forget it, Bonnie agreed to terminating the pregnancy.

For a while, her days were good.  That was until she ran into a mutual friend in town who noticed her mild change in appearance, causing Bonnie to reveal she was expecting. Not thinking they were going to say anything to her opposite who waited for her at home, she refrained from telling them not to.  What a mistake that was.  Aware of his temper, never had she seen him throw the fit he did that evening. Never had she felt herself get so angry with anyone.  It was terrible.

Fresh tears beginning to stream down her face, the woman noticed she was at her stop and pulled the cord before grabbing her two bags and getting off. Having hardly any to no friends who lived in the mortal world, Bonnie found herself thankful for one acquaintance and hoped he was home.

 Climbing the steps of Ikennas residence, Bonnie cleaned up her face and got herself together before knocking on the door and ringing the bell. Holding her jacket closed, she waited for the door to be answered, hoping it was him on the other side of it.

@alittlemercyrps aka my grandmother. for real though, i guess i'm biased because you were one of the first people i talked to on here, but you are literally so important to me and probably was the reason i was able to branch out and talk to more people. you know what they say; grandma knows best!

@musemosaic you just really know what to say under each circumstance i can think of, or at least the ones you’ve witnessed with me. thank you for being so damn understanding of me and sticking around my dumb ass

@brokenspy i know we really don’t talk all that much, but i still like seeing you pop up on my dash when you’re around! it makes me so happy to be following someone who portrays sarah so well and is a sweetheart out of character too!

@idpickycufirst always looks out for me, like for real. you may not even realize it but just talking to you about either or kids or our days is enough for me. it makes me feel good and important you know?? so thank you for that!

“Hey Gram... Gram!” Oliver whispered loudly, tossing a few bits of popcorn at his friend’s head. “Do you think we can listen to that one band we went and saw the other night? You know, the headliner. My mom won’t be home for a bit and we can listen to them as loud as we want all Risky Business and stuff.”

“This is why you die first in a movie.” - Grim to Zach

Zach scoffed. “But! I--” He waved his hands around before dropping them, defeated. Grim was right, he would definitely die first in a movie if anything were to happen. “I should stop questioning everything, right? That’s how I’d die. ‘Hey, why is this door unlocked?’ because I would be that kid having to investigate something so clearly marked as ‘STAY THE FUCK AWAY’ and not knowing my boundaries enough until I test my most certain death.” 

After a few moments, he groaned. Loudly. Wiping his face with both of his hands, he began to laugh. “I’m really that dumb kid trope that does everything they shouldn’t do but does it anyway and would wind up dead! Son of a dick!”

@monmonstres Here’s a late Valentine’s Day Drabble!

Ava never intended to enter a relationship much less with two people at the same time but one day she was single and the next she was juggling her time between two people. Mack and Cade, Cade and Mack. They were inseparable and apparently liked tl share everything. Including girlfriend's a fact that she hadn't realized until she had set off a fire alarm and cried inside a restaurant for being a “cheater”.

The last thought was enough to make her roll her eyes; she wished that they were decent enough to mention the fact they had know instead of joy out her internal struggle of being a good person but she had learned to let go and move on instead. Besides it wouldn't be good to dwell on the pass when she currently had bigger issues at the moment.

She had to figure out what to get her two trickster boyfriends, the ideas had been running in her head all week and it was three days left until Valentine's Day and she still didn't know what to get them. A box of chocolate and a card would be too cliche for her taste and anything else she could think off didn't seem right. Ava was nearly on the verge of calling it quits and getting them both a sweater when something in the store window caught her eye. She paused for a second taking a moment to look at the item before walking into the store.

“I actually can't believe that you gave us collars for Valentine's Day,” It was Mack who spoke, his voice coming out low and amused.

Ava simply shrugged her shoulders. “You boys are simply too much to handle on my own, so I thought I would get something that provided a little assistance,” she crossed her arms. “I can return it if you want me too.”

“No, it's fine,” It was Cade who spoke this time. There was a grin on his face that spelled trouble and for the first Ava wondered what give the had decided to give her. “Now we won't feel bad about giving you the restraints and ball gag.”
