Uh so, im just a little confused on your view here. Why would it be "queer erasure" if someone shipped a gay fictional character with another fictional character of the oposite gender? (Im just curious is all)

think of it like this, outside of ships

if you make a canonically trans* character cis, that is erasing representation for trans* people 

if you make a canon character of color and make them white, that is erasing representation for PoC (it's even called whitewashing)

this is just another form of those examples
