The Umbrella ☔🌻
I gave Kengo gloves, they're not Alsista (or Arisista, his gauntlets). These are just ordinary gloves since I thought he looks so cool wearing them!
A girl and her 2000s animangas 💔💔
Happy (unofficial) birthday to Shirogane! Here's a part of my collection for the 5 other Monochrome Factor fans that exist.
I need to rant about this because this has been passing me off for a while.
Why is the manga, anime, AND VISUAL NOVEL for Monochrome factor all COMPLETELT DIFFERENT?? I just finished reading the manga yesterday and I watched the anime a year or so ago. So you can imagine my surprise when I went back to the anime and all of the sudden there some kid here now?? Who tf is he??
Im not sure if it was the author's intention to change things but its also very jarring with how many gay scenes were in the anime considering how non gay the whole manga was?? Like, Shirogane and Akira don't even have that type of relationship. Sure they work together but it's more of just something they have to do rather than them really "liking" each other. I would say Shirogane is more interested in Ryuko then he was with Akira because, well y'know. But in the anime, Shirogane just really likes him now??? Huh??
I mean, at the very least Kengo doesn't get the same treatment he did in the manga. That was one of the things I hated about the manga. Kengo is just treated like a punching bag literally and figuratively. It's so annoying! Especially since most of it comes from Akira. HIS BEST FRIEND. And it's not like a Akira and Keisuke thing. Sure both Akira's suck at communicating but at least they both tried and at least one wasn't physically abusive to his so called friend. The manga's ending is the only peace I guess Kengo could get since he is free of Akira's abuse but I still don't like it. Justice for Kengo, he did nothing wrong.
I can't speak much on the vn since it was never translated but essentially it ALSO has an entirely different plot from the game. Which is fine since it's like a spinoff game. But from the reviews I could find, it's also has some gay moments from Shirogane. So, was he always ment to be this way or was it changed to fit the popular wave of yaoi back then? Idk, but this rabbit hole (if you can call it that) has been very confusing..
