Happy Memorial Day to you all and a special thanks to our veterans and all those who have lost loved ones in the military. I went to WW2 museum today and was so overwhelmed with gratitude for all those who have sacrificed so much for our freedoms. Today’s #mondaymotivation is a reminder of value - It’s incredible the lengths we’ll go to salvage something of value. No matter how cracked the phone screen may be or how much the dryer may rattle, if it’s still working, it’s a keeper. Can you relate? After all, broken crayons still color. But for some reason, we don’t use that same mentality when it comes to our lives. We feel our mess-ups leave us tainted and unusable. We think, "if we haven’t done right, we can’t be made right and in turn, we can’t be used by God." Can you also relate? But the Bible says differently! Although you may feel like your life is tarnished and ruined due to past mistakes, remember God uses broken vessels. David, Paul, Sarah and Peter – God used each of them in spite of their mistakes and He can use you, too. Today, allow your trials to be your testimony. Turn the hurt into hope by not being ashamed of your scars. Your journey could be the very thing God uses to draw others near to Him. Be encouraged in knowing that God has plan for your life and He's working all things together for your good.
