The victim is Akira Sasaki. The victim died at approximately 6:10 pm at the bench at the end of the cobblestone path. The cause of death was blunt trauma to the brain. The victim has a bleeding bashing wound on her head and rashes on her face, neck, and hands.

aa ask mememe: 31, 35, 36

31. Did you like what they did to Phoenix in Apollo Justice?well… not particularly I guess. I don’t mind the Hobonix storyline, in fact I think Hobonix is pretty funny and a great character to have as Apollo’s mentor since Apollo is so lawfully good, but if they were going to do that to him I wish they had just committed to it. it’s hard to see our comeback kid dragged through the mud like that, but to me it makes no sense that they choose that path for his character and then immediately go back on it in DD and SoJ. the Phoenix in those games really seems like the Phoenix immediately post-T&T, not someone who’s gone through being disbarred, they really just act like that never happened. 

35. Opinion on the soundtrack of the Ace Attorney-franchise?I mean I love the AA franchise’s soundtrack, maybe it’s my nostalgia goggles but I think it’s fantastic, especially because of the composers’ use of leitmotifs and the like. I think I have most of them in my iTunes library, and I use the jazz album as study music lol

36. Do you like where the franchise is heading or did you prefer the atmosphere in the original trilogy?hmm… well I originally didn’t really like where the series was headed after DD because there wasn’t a whole lot I liked about DD and I care very little for Athena, but I enjoyed SoJ a lot so I guess I’m back on board. I think I’ll always just prefer everything about the original trilogy, but I do like the way the games now, like AAI2, all have interconnected cases so the takedown of the big bad is just that much better.

4. Favourite prosecutor?well Edgeworth is sort of the obvious answer to this but I’m actually going to go with Franziska; I love a strong female character, especially in a role dominated by men, and I think her character development is really well done. in JFA she’s introduced as a character who hates Phoenix with every bone in her body but over time, you get to see her question everything she was taught as a child growing up and develop her own values instead of reciting a carbon copy of Manfred’s values.

then, after JFA, you get to see more of her as her “new” self, like when she makes an appearance in T&T and AAI, and as a bonus, baby Franzy is just adorable.

ok also let’s face it her bursting into the courtroom in 2-4 to deliver evidence after getting shot is one of my favorite moments in the series and I’ll never not love it

23. Investigations or trials?hmm I guess I probably like the investigations better…? it’s pretty much a toss-up for me, both have their pros and cons, both can be grueling or fun at times, and trials are great because you get the satisfying feeling of figuring out what actually happened in these cases, but I really like getting to see all the different areas there are during the investigations and hearing the funny little quips from whoever the assistant is and getting to interact with Gumshoe or Ema or Bobby or whoever the detective is. 

50. Do you think Dual Destinies deserved its M-rating?probably tbh, the crime scene photos of Metis and her whole murder and both what everyone thought happened and what actually happened were pretty gruesome. DD was a lot heavier than I think the previous games were, especially in terms of gore shown so I can see why it was rated M.

For the aa ask meme: 7,16,44?

7. Favourite murderer?it’s between Dahlia and Luke Atmey for me: Dahlia because her character is just pure unadulterated evil, and her need for revenge is so great that she basically comes back from the dead to exact it. she’s the ultimate femme fatale and you get to see across the whole game just how many people's’ lives she’s ruined for her own gain before you finally take her down. 

Luke Atmey I love because I think he had one of the most brilliant plans in the game, to use a conviction for a lesser crime as an alibi, and that even though you can kinda tell when you meet him that he’s up to no good, the case is still a wild ride thanks to him.

16. Least favourite victim? (SoJ spoilers!!)not sure if he technically counts but probably Tahrust Inmee, I never understood why he and Beh’leeb framed Maya for pretty much no reason, and then barely gave her any sort of apology. 

44. Opinion on Lamiroir’s storyline?I like Lamiroir as a character just fine, her role in 4-3 was cool because having a blind witness was a really interesting concept, but I think they really robbed her of her storyline. I wish that instead of all the weird backstory junk they gave Apollo in DD and SoJ they had just done a better job of going in-depth in Lamiroir’s story and her relationship with Apollo and Trucy. they really dropped the ball with her by kind of shoving that storyline in and then never bringing it up again.

for the AA ask meme: 28, 30, and 49!

28. Ace Attorney trilogy or Apollo Justice and Dual Destinies?the original trilogy for sure! I personally didn’t like Dual Destinies a whole lot and I thought Apollo Justice was decent, but the real magic is in the original trilogy.

30. Ema Skye as she is in Rise from the Ashes or Ema Skye as she is in Apollo Justice?actually I’ll admit I do like Ema in Apollo Justice because I think her character is super funny and relatable for me personally, but overall I like Ema better in Rise from the Ashes because she’s just a much better character when she’s so excited about forensics and passionate about her dreams.

49. Opinion on recurring witnesses? (Wendy Oldbag, Lotta Hart, Larry Butz, etc.)Lotta never really struck a chord with me, but I do actually love when Larry and Wendy pop back up if only for the reactions from the main cast.

3. Favourite defendant?hmm... I’d probably have to say Lana Skye, I think she has a really incredible and beautiful arc especially because she and Ema are so reminiscent of Mia and Maya, and winning that case gives you such a satisfying feeling since you’re both putting a truly evil person in prison and keeping a family together.

but I also have a soft spot for Ron because 3-2 is one of my favorite cases and I just love the whole Mask☆DeMasque schtick and how ridiculous he is.

10. Favourite quote?I guess I’d say I have two, both from the final case of T&T: the first is when Edgeworth as the defense is cross-examining Larry and says “This one single statement is so full of contradictions... For a moment there, I thought I was going to collapse.” because that line just always cracks me up, but then on a more serious note I also love Phoenix’s monologue from the end of the game. 

33. Do you think Dai Gyakuten Saiban and/or Miles Edgeworth Investigations 2 will get localised to the West?well I think that there’s more hope for DGS since it only came out like 2 years ago whereas AAI2 came out like 6 years ago so I don’t see that ever being localized if it hasn’t been already, especially since it was for the DS. I have no idea if DGS will ever be localized and I doubt it will be but since it was for the 3DS and is still kiiiiiind of new there might be a chance there.

MONOKUMA FILE #3: ADDY PATEL Time of death: 9:17 pm Addy Patel died of suffocation and suffered no other wounds. She was found in her own room on a chair. MONOKUMA FILE #4: NORIKO MORI Time of death: 8:49 pm Noriko Mori died of blunt trauma to the skull. She was found on the floor in the library.
